Stump Pass Beach State Park

We went here on a very windy day for a picnic and to check out the nature trail. There are a few tables near the restrooms and parking lot. After lunch we hiked the 1.3 mile trail one way to the end of stump pass. Its worth the hike if you love nature, walking, playing and enjoying the water. The dolphins were all over the intercostal at the end and we enjoyed watching them as always. We were happy to see an area roped off for the nesting shore birds. Just an awesome place to rest and relax and enjoy the beauty of stump pass. We can't wait to go back again and enjoy the experience of nature and the beauty of God's creations!

Visited in October 2017; ample parking, lovely beach, mixture of sand and shell bits, ideal for shelling and finding sharks teeth. We found loads of these using our hands, did not need any nets or equipment. We were lucky enough to see dolphins offshore on 3 occasions - absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!

We enjoyed walking the trails, although we didn’t see enough birds to justify its inclusion as a Florida Birding Trail. Signage at trailheads was absent. The Nature Center was unmanned, giving the impression of financial issues. The park itself was very well-kept.

Paradise Fishing Charters

You found the place you want to be when it comes to catching fish!

Reviewed By Sophie H - Carmel IN

Captain Steve and mate JD Thank you for making two 75 and 76 year old youngsters remember a day of fishing like no other! We caught so many fish under the guidance of these two experienced fishermen. Speaking as the only woman on this chartered fishing expedition I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive - but I surely needn't have been. Not only did they know where we would catch fish but Capt. Steve and JD couldn't have been more helpful, caring, kind and had a helluva good sense of humor. If you want to catch fish...if you want to be with people who care....who know where to catch fish and are passionate about it...then by all means book a day with Capt. Steve! You won't be disappointed...how could you be...you're in "Paradise!"

Englewood Beach

Love going to different beaches, taking nice long walks. But unfortunately this beach was way too crowded for my liking, even at 10:00 in the morning. The machine's they use for you to pay to park were not working and when they did take the money no receipts came out. Very frustrating. The bathroom and changing rooms were really dirty too, even that early in the morning. Will not go back....ever !

Blind Pass Beach

This beach is just further down the road from Manasota Key. Everyone looks for sharks teeth and you can’t go wrong. Right now they are fixing the bathrooms so they have porta potties, but their clean though. The beach is really pretty and relaxing. Not as busy as the one further down.
