Beautiful place, warm and clean waters. I recommend arriving before 10 am to avoid the traffic, since the access road is narrow, steep and full of curves.

The old factory became the Beer Museum. Dynamic, interactive, modern. You can see the story of the beer throw centuries. Another part talk about the history of beer in Brazil, starting from that old factory. And another level we see all old machines (some still working) to follow all production. Of course, at end, we have the pleasure to try some of this excellent beer.

Pedra do Sino ("bell stone") is the highest peak (2.275m) of Serra dos Órgãos and offers you spetacular views of the many beautiful surrounding peaks and up to the city of Rio de Janeiro in a clear day.
The peak is in Serra dos Órgãos National Park, in the city of Teresópolis, about 100km from Rio de Janeiro city center.
The trail: It's an easy -- but VERY long -- walk until the top. More than 10km, usually more than 3 hours in a good pace (not rushing) each way. Do not go if you're not used to long walks.
Lenght: You can do it in a single day (arrive early -- 8 am -- to do that) or you can spend a night in a basic lodge very close to the peak (15 min.), or even camp in the lodge area. Check prices and reservation with the National Park before you go (the lodge is usually full in fridays and saturdays during the winter season)
Money: Price to the trail in jun/12 was R$ 30 for brazilians and R$ 55 for foreigners for a single day. It's more expensive (but not the double) if you stay there 2 days.
When to go: Winter days are usually clearer -- but always check the weather before you go. You may see nothing at the peak in a cloudy day.
Who is able to go: Anyone in good shape.

This is one of the most beautiful National Park nearby Rio. It stretches along of Organ's Range from Petropolis to Teresopolis. The park has several trails into the tropical forest crossing several Mountains, leading to outstanding scenery.
However the lack of infrastructure along with lack of maintenance spoil the opportunity to be one of the greatest place for hikers in Rio de Janeiro State.

Point cultural de São Gonçalo, possui biblioteca, teatro e sempre esta apresentando algo diferente, a cidade de que não tem tantas opções culturais encontra no Sesc um reduto de boa cultura. Possui ótima piscina para associados.

Costumo visitar as cachoeiras de Andorinhas durante a semana, pois está menos povoada e mais tranquila. Após um delicioso banho nos poços da cachoeira é impossivel não parar no bar do Tamico e tomar uma cerveja gelada e comer um peixinho fresco.

You actually can see this mountain called Finger of God from Rio De Janeiro. But once you enter Teresopolis it is magestic. For Mountain climbers it is awonderful epereince. Sunrize is spectacular. It can be cold because of the altitude.

Great opportunity to see architecture, ammenities and authentic furniture from more than 150 years ago...fully understandable that all visitors has to use some kind of flipflops to use with shoes and slide all over the place to not mistreat old imperial floor...but it was kind of annoying.

Muito bem tratado da recepcionista que me vendeu o ingresso, muito atenciosa, muito simpática e comunicativa, loja de goluseimas muito bem instalada, acesso as salas fácil, tudo bem sinalizado dentro da sala de exibição, ambiente limpo, cadeiras confortáveis, som e imagem de alta qualidade.
