Vaja Bay

A beautiful, raw beach quite close to Korcula. It took us about 30m on a scooter. The climb down is quite tough, bring sneakers? There aren't any restaurants or beds, so bring a snack and plenty to drink (preferably not from Cin Cin in Rasisce!) there weren't more than 10 people on the beach at any point, it felt very much like you and nature. The water is also a bit warmer than in other parts. Really lovely.

I did a 3 day kiteboarding course in Croatia on the Peljesac. North Kiteboarding Club was organiser of this course. The instructors were friendly and experienced, equipment was brand new and the location is nice. They give me a lot of new informations about kiteboarding. A very relaxed environment, fantastic water, the beatiful coastlines of Croatia, the island of Korcula just opposite of the kite spot, ...
I will be back for sure!!!

Beautiful bay with turquoise water. Depending on the time of day it can be very quite or animated. If you're in the neighborhood it is definitely worth the detour!

Korta Katarina Winery

We love French and Italian wines, but knew next to nothing about Croatian wines. Anna at Korta Katharina was so nice and helpful in sharing information about the different Croatian grapes, where they grow best, and how they match up with the food if the area. Anna also provided us with literature about Croatian grapes. We loved the crisp, dry refreshing taste of their Zinfandel/Plavic Mali blended Rosé. And their red blend (2011 or 2013 I don't remember) was another delight for us. Nice blackberry and fig fruit with a touch of vanilla, very nice! Having grown up as children in Minnesota, it was fun to learn that the owners, Lee and Penny Anderson, were business people from this wonderful state. This was a great place to visit and easy walk from Orebic.

He was Jelling at me when I wanted to pay coffee in EUR m(€). He said that he hate euro and all European union countries members. His proposal was that he would not accept Euro money and me as a tourist need to work for him to pay off two coffees . He was really rude and I was feeling like terrifying and frightened for my life.He was doing this for at least 30 min.

Last year my girlfriend and I were in Viganj, and wanted to do our first steps in kitesurfing. The school is small and not so "glamorous", but we chose it because the instructors seemed really nice and friendly. And it stayed that way during the whole course. Motivating instructors, who realy know every little step you shuld do to get up on the board. We are planning to come back again this year and to get our skills to the next level.

Kapetansko groblje

Reviewed By Stanisław Ł - Bestwina
