This was an amazing experience, just be sure you are prepared. Have head lamps and flashlights, and bring gloves, because you will be climbing over a ton of large rocks, and they are quite sharp. Dress warmly, because it is always cool in the cave. I had read on other reviews that there was a 10 foot high barrier that you had to scale, but it was not quite that high. Maybe 6 or 7 feet at the most. Someone has placed a large rock at the base, so you have something to stand on, and there are a few proturbances that you can leverage your foot against, but it helps if you have someone tall who can go first and then help pull you up. Didn't see any bats.

Lake Sacajawea Park

What a lovely feature. This large park with a lake that sort-of wanders through town provides broad, grassy lawns, picnic areas, fishing spots, and lots of bird watching. A paved trail surrounds this large urban park that will appeal to walkers and joggers. Very old trees are a source of shade and delighted wonder. The surrounding neighborhood is interesting as well. A beautiful getaway in the heart of Longview.

They present a variety of plays, including a melodrama that we saw and enjoyed immensely. The atmosphere is fun and the audience is encouraged to cheer the heroes and to boo and throw popcorn at the villains. The acting is superb considering that they are all amateurs. Snacks and soft drinks are available in the lobby for a donation. This is a super way to enjoy an afternoon's or evening's entertainment.
