Are you in London, Ontario and looking to go for a nice walk? Springbank is a jewel of London's park system. It stretches along the Thames River from the Guy Lombardo bridge all the way past Storybook Gardens. You can park at either end. The trail is paved the entire way and pretty flat, so you will be sharing it with cyclists. There is plenty of greenery, loads of river views and various points of interest (an historic pumping station; the duck pond by Storybook Gardens). At a good pace you can walk the length of the park and back again in about 30-40 minutes. Truly a nice walk -- check it out!

We attended a London Lightning Game. We could feel the excitement coming from all sides of the Arena. There was plenty of room for everyone. The Cheerleaders did a fantastic job of keeping the Audience motivated & entertained. Putting on little contests for the Spectators to participate in during half time was fun to watch. The lightning won . Go Lightning....

we went here to check it ouot as we heard it is one of the most beautiful campus in Canada and it was a wow! clean and spacious and that view entering the bridge-hello harry potter. it was under construction when we came but beautiful campus. well kept univerosty.

a small park but very well maintained, I enjoy having my lunch therre in the summer or winter, people are friendly and as it is downtown very close to everything you could want. love this park

Had read several articles about Thanksgiving dinner here. So we decided to attend. Tickets must be purchased in advance at $22/adult.
Walk from parking to restaurant was a little too far.
Staff were not dressed in period outfits
Tables did have name tags but were not very well spaced out.
No water glasses or bread plates out
One line rolls and butter water/lemonade serve your self in plastic glasses
Buffet consisted of soup mashed potatoes stuffing white/dark meat Turkey gravy a vegetable medley and cranberry sauce which than ran out of.
No salads no relish trays
Terrible coffee
Dessert was very bland pumpkin pie and apple pie no ice cream no name whipped cream offered no thanks
No staff to remove used plates
Got dirty looks for taking a small.piece of dark meat home. Had paid for four meals and only 3 of us attended.
Turkey didn't have a great flavour and was sliced way too thick.
No aur conditioning or fans
No fly swatters for the bugs including hornets flying around
A very over priced and disappointing experience
Won't be back can't recommend
Staff didn't even come around to see if we needed or wanted anything.
An looked forward to time that left a bad taste

The Aeolian Hall has over a century of history, having been a town hall, London's first public library, and many others!) The hall does theatre as well as Concerts, and a gambit of other public Performances. Very KEWL is that it is run by volunteers, for door, Seating, tickets, bar etc.!!! They even offer a ticket level that allows you to buy a community ticket, and they offer these for free for those in the community that can not afford the luxury of such a performance. The venue is older, and not glitzy, but it is a wonderful way to see a great show or hear a concert for little cost more than a smile!
We were there Saturday for their home grown strings group: The RebelHeart Collective.They were excellent, and also did wonderful community outreach including UWO students of music, high school students and even public school students in parts of their performance!

The market has a good selection of vendors with a good variety of products for sale. There are small food vendors and two good restaurants. During the week, there is a half hour of free parking and two hours free on the weekend. Market vendors of cheese, fresh meet and fruit and veggies are varied and more than good enough.
I must note that this market is much smaller than St. Lawrence market in Toronto so do not expect the same level of variety in selections. Still more than good enough.

we visited this house and what a surprise! I love history and this house delivers. furnitures, decor, kitchen, wallpaper, bedroom and the guides are very informative that even my son who hates sightseeing got interested with the house history and ask a lot of questions.... they have construction but you can still go inside the house. They also have high tea with staff dressed in old servants uniform... Highly recommend to visit and admission is donation to hep with the upkeep of this house.

This part like Springbank park is linked by path - multi-use bike, blade, jog, walk and is part of a system of parks throughout London. One can travel almost end to end through the city parks! Great for a longer afternoon stroll, or as a destination for a family picnic, and or swim (public pool in the park).
It is prone to spring flooding and was very wet in our very rainy early May this year.
