Lincoln is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. It is the second-largest town by area in New Hampshire. The population was 1,662 at the 2010 census. The town is home to the New Hampshire Highland Games and to a portion of Franconia Notch State Park. Set in the White Mountains, large portions of the town are within the White Mountain National Forest. The Appalachian Trail crosses in the northeast. Lincoln is the location of the Loon Mountain ski resort and associated recreation-centered development.

I liked that basin. As we were heading to it, we saw a river flowing swiftly.
The basin has a waterfall and its water is green. It's truly a basin in all its beauty!.
Some of the water followed the river.
I enjoyed the beauty of this basin. It is free as well. It's a must see! Wow!

This place has been busy renovating and building new experiences over the last few years. The original gorge tour and caves are just as fun as ever, and the new lookouts, boardwalks, and suspension bridge add a lot to the experience.
Despite some reviews that say this place isn't kid-friendly, we had no trouble bringing a 2-year-old through most of the caves. Some caves may not be open, depending on water level. It seems to be difficult to predict which caves are open/closed.

Typical water park in just about every aspect...Park is clean and all attractions were operating normal. I would suggest bringing in a cooler of some sorts....food and drink costs are through the roof here..very small portions and options for the money. Do yourself a favor and bring food and drink. Other than that park is fantastic. We will defiantly be back..

Great swimming hole, lots of spots to swim and tube if u have one. YOu can rent across the street as well. Be careful can be slippery, especially for the little ones. Overall worth the visit for some local fun

Fadden's General Store & Maple Sugarhouse proved to be a wonderful stop on our tour of New England. Jim Fadden took us through the step-by-step process of getting maple syrup to the table, from harvesting to processing to packaging to purchasing in Fadden's General Store. We had 4 quarts shipped to us. Thanks Mr. Fadden! P.S. the general store is a pretty neat place.

Popped in when there was no snow for snowmobiling. Very welcoming staff. Enjoyed a flight of 5 wines. Nice selection. The 6 of us enjoyed the cheese plate and chocolate sampler, then came home with 6 bottles, to remember our visit. Peter was personable and informative. (It was also very cool to overlook the pool and hot tub, surrounded by an ice skating rink.)

I like the hiking trails in Franconia Notch. Exploring everything we could see was great fun. Waterfalls, rapids, large rocks and hiking to see some amazing views. Even admiring their lakes was worthwhile.
Wherever we went, beauty was everywhere. We came here at a good time. The leaves were changing colors, due to the Fall. It was so beautiful.
My best three best places were the flume, the Artist Bluff Trail and the trail to Canon mountain.
I certainly will come back here. It's a must!

We took the 2 hour ride from Meredith. Easy to get to and easy to park. The website said you could get lunch but we were told that was discontinued. We were told drinks and cookies and ice cream would be available onboard, we'll only drinks were available so at the end of the 2 hour ride at 12:30, we were hungry. That aside, we enjoyed the ride and all the sights along the way. We found all the workers to be nice and enjoyed our time there.

This was a nice souvenir shop with a variety of items for sale. The staff was friendly. In the back of the store, there were several automobiles on display including several rare items. Many other auto related pieces were on display as well. There were three other automobiles located in the parking lot outside.

Our first visit was more enjoyable for two reasons - warmer weather and visited during the week. This time it was negative degrees with the wind chill factor and only 12 degrees without it, it was absolutely FREEZING even being completely bundled up in full winter attire. My son did not mind as much as myself and his father of course. The downside for him was that it was completely packed and the line for the slides was at least an hour wait - which was not going to happen. Fortunately there were some smaller slides available and he was able to go on those repeatedly. We also lucked out that we went to get some cocoa and a snack from the little cafe house and the woman in front of us was alone and pregnant attempting to juggle two cinnamon rolls and four cups of cocoa. We offered to help and she declined but after dropping one of her cups and spilling it (which the attendant at the cafe gladly replaced at no charge and even offered my son a free one for being so helpful to the woman), she gladly accepted and had us follow her to her family in line for the slide. My son voiced how he wanted to go but I told him no, the line was too long so she told us to just cut in with her family (not something I would normally do but a crying child calls for desperate measures). Only I went with my son so that we would only be adding one trip down the slide (there are only 2 lanes). No one behind us was upset, or at least they didn't seem so thankfully. The wait ended up being about 15 minutes as we got in right were you grab the sleds and my son was beyond thrilled, we left right after this as it was too cold to stay any longer. Overall, it was still a great visit and it's an amazing craft to view. Next year, I will be going on a weekday!
