Saint Joseph Church

Better be prepared for traffic coming into this place, it gets horrendous since this is also situated near a Catholic School(St. Joseph's Academy).. Parking can be limited at times since school service use the same parking lots for church visitors.
Church offers very solemn atmosphere despite being in a major thoroughfare and magic starts when the Old Bamboo Organ starts playing if by chance it does. one words Best describe this: MAGNIFICENT.. !!

Mary Immaculate Parish - Nature Church

Reviewed By Elmer A - Las Piñas, Philippines

In the midst of the maddening Metro Manila urban jungle, the Mary Immaculate Parish Nature Church is a haven for both troubled spirits and those with a cause for celebration. The unique open-to-nature architecture, with the thatched anahaw roofing and the timber log Seating and altar, makes for a serene destination for anyone seeking a soulful rest. Commune with your Maker along with the chirping birds flying about the surroundings of this garden-themed sanctuary.
A favorite venue for weddings and baptisms as well as other occasions, the Nature Church is the perfect backdrop for families and friends to celebrate their life milestones. They have function halls and in-house catering courtesy of the Nature Church Cafe. However, if you wish your reception at a different setting, there are numerous restaurants and events venues within 5 to 15 minutes of the church. This is also a good place to hideaway for groups seeking a spiritual retreat without the need to get out of the city. The church compound also features a small chapel, a columbarium behind the church and a new memorial building for hosting wakes. There is also a small medical clinic and a school. It's accessible via car or commute and if it's not because of the traffic in the city of Las Pinas, I would give it a perfect rating.
There is an annual "Salubong" every Holy Week and the procession goes around Moonwalk Village and the surrounding communities. This may well be a good starting point as any, if you want to witness the faith of a community that has kept this parish alive through several fires and numerous typhoons.
I'm talking from experience here as this was the site of my wedding. The atmosphere of the place and the memories from this one-of-a-kind house of worship has helped keep our union fresh all these years.

This was my first time in a trampoline park despite there being a couple where I live. I only came in to accompany my kids, not to enjoy the place myself. It starts off with registration for the available hour long slots. You then watch a hilariously morbid and brutal safety video showing the likely deaths of stick people who didn't follow safety rules. There is an area for non-paying accompanying adults but they do allow you to stay on the grounds for a few minutes to take pictures. Attendants do seem to actually be paying attention and enforcing the rules. Aside from the standard trampolines, there is a dodgeball area, and a jousting area.
The kids had a great time and now I guess we have to visit our own trampoline parks here.
Note: Socks with traction are required and there are some available for purchase.

Santuario de San Ezekiel Moreno

Reviewed By tynejr - Las Pinas, Philippines

I drive by this place almost everyday, and one afternoon when I was on my home early, I decided to stop by and say a prayer.
The fact that it sits on the outskirts of Las Pinas in an area just a few minutes from the town proper makes it easily accessible from the town and from the main thoroughfare called Sucat Road and the C5 extension. Located in a generally open part of Las Pinas, you get a whiff of fresh air as you step out of your car and walk up the ramp to the church entrance.
It is a nice quiet retreat in the middle of the day right on the outskirts of the town proper. I am sure this area will soon be filled with other buildings and structures, so I am enjoying this place of worship as much as I can.
Nice place for some spiritual "Me Time".
