Wild West City

Wild West City is a replica of Dodge City, Kansas in the late 1800's. We feature 22 different live action shows. In addition to the shows guests can browse the shops and museums, visit our barnyard zoo or pan for gold. Sit a spell with the Mountainman, Schoolmarm, Blacksmith or Chuckwagon Camp Cook. A train ride, stagecoach ride or pony ride also available.

This place is great if you have a little boy/ girl at home who loves Cowboys. Ours are both under 9 and they loved it. It's a little expensive but the authenticity of everything is great. The staff are all very nice and hospitable too! The shows are neat. Advice: Go on the train after the great bank robbery. Visit the mountain man and school earlier in the day. Try to get there by 11:00 when it opens so you don't miss any of the shows.

Lake Hopatcong Cruises

Lake Hopatcong Cruises has one boat in the fleet - the beautiful Miss Lotta. Miss Lotta was brought to Lake Hopatcong and was completely refurbished during the winter of 2013-14. Thoughtful renovation brought Miss Lotta a much needed facelift in addition to state of the art improvements such as HD TVs in the main cabin, a sound system, stabilizing units, air conditioning, refurbished heads and a covered upper deck. Miss Lotta has a regular schedule of cruises throughout out the season. Cruise options range from yoga, brunch, dinner, cocktail, historical and a variety of seasonal cruises and special events such as Football cruises, Octoberfest and July 4th to name a few. Miss Lotta is also available for private events for groups not exceeding 40 people. Miss Lotta offers buffet style food and a full bar to customers. Catering is often supplied by LHC's sister company - Alice's restaurant - however we welcome private parties to bring their own caterer or choose from many other restaurants we have relationships with. Our staff is professionally trained and attentive.

The staff were extremely friendly. The tour around the lake was great. We went on the 1/2 way to St. Patrick's Day specialty tour, which was fun and festive.
One of our guests is a wheelchair-user and was able to board and access the lower level with no problem.
The bottom is enclosed so it was a comfortable temperature. The top level is open air, but the roof covering protected us from a short rain shower. We even saw a rainbow!
When we left the parking lot, an eagle flew overhead. All in all a lovely trip.

Sun High Orchards

Phil the owner takes exceptional pride in the fruits and vegetables that he grows. He grows outstanding varieties of peaches, apples and nectarines. As one variety matures on the trees he'll pick it at the height of freshness and put it out for sale.
In addition his staff is outstanding, always polite, willing to help and very knowledgeable.
I don't believe there's a better place to find fresh fruits and vegetables in Morris County

Recently rented a pontoon boat for 4-hrs on Lake Hopatcong as part of 3-couple group. What a pleasant surprise. First time on lake and really had a nice day. Marina personnel were excellent, very knowledgable and very organized. Marina small but has everything u need. Boat rentals are quite nice. Would recommend before season ends.

Lake Hopatcong Golf Club

Lake Hopatcong (mini) Golf Club is an 18 hole, full access mini golf course on the shore of Lake Hopatcong. Beautifully landscaped with historical structures to play through. Open seasonally May through October weather permitting. Ideal for all golfers. Light snack bar on location. Docks and car parking.

Reviewed By MEEEK - Suffern, New York

The course was nicely kept. I found only approximately 3 holes to be fun; the rest I found to be pretty boring--probably the top or second most boring mini golf course I ever played, and I've played quite a few courses. And the fee to play was more expensive than some, and for what it was. I guess I was paying for the upkeep of the greens. My son and his friend liked it, though.

Although they claim to be wheelchair accessible, a strong person would be needed to push the wheelchair uphill.

Fly High Watersports

I had one of the best times ever! Jeff and his staff were so helpful and fun! There are even Bluetooth headsets to help guide you through your first tries. In doing a few searches, they are even the cheapest fly boarding place by far. HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to try something new an exciting, although I would recommend getting a few people and doing a few hours, that way you don't have to go 45 minutes straight and can rest and try again.

This place is nice and clean. However, the courses are all the same and not challenging unless you are under the age of 8. It was dead yesterday and the weather was absolutely perfect. I hope it doesn't go out of business but I don't see myself returning either.

Tomahawk Lake Water Park

Reviewed By G3inLondon

Tomahawk Lake Water Park is the perfect place for a family outing, especially if you have younger (read less than 48" tall) children. There are quite a few water-based activities for the younger set while the older kids can have a ball swimming in the lake or getting wet on the water slides.

It's an a la carte park so while you pay an entrance fee per person, (that includes admission to the lake w options for the youngsters) everything else costs extra. That includes: water slides; mini golf; bumper boats; swan boats and other boating options. Hungry? There is a snack/lunch shack but for those bringing their own meals, there is a picnic area where one can grill. Bonus for adults: they serve adult beverages!!

Come for the day and have a great time.

Ps - bring cash
