This is my favourite mall in the Orange County area!

We came here a few evenings for dinner (lots of restaurants to choose from). I shopped here on my own one afternoon (hubby was in business meetings). Lots of parking.

You can ride the ferris wheel or carousel, see a movie, get ice cream, etc. Outdoor malls are so nice.

Saddleback Church

Reviewed By Ang1370 - San Leandro, California

I was amazed with their online services. I finally got the chance to visit the beautiful church with great music and relevant message. Sitting in the live worship helps me feel the music and the energy of the patrons. You get to see the full stage and the full members/ visitors without all that screen editing from the online service. Their music is like a concert, loud but uplifting. If you can't see, then there are two giant HD screens on both sides. When done, there are tables outside for small groups, singles, connections and other resources. Plenty of parking. The friendly ushers make you feel at home. The nice drive to the church already gives you a sense of peace and so will their weekly messages. One tip I want to leave is that the live speaker is usually on the Saturday, 4:00 pm service but there are other service times with the message recorded.

I visit Aliso Viejo often, and walk many mornings at this park. It is at 28373 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel. You can park on the road or in the paid parking lot if the road is full. I usually walk on the bike path to the south, but there are many wonderful walks that I've taken. The birds and plants are wonderful. During school sessions, there are lots of kids walking or biking to school in the early morning. This path is along Aliso Creek, and there are so many wonderful birds, particularly in the winter.

Heisler Park is a very photogenic spot stretching along the protected Laguna Beach nature preserve. It offers scenic views of offshore rocks and several paths down on to the sand. There is sometimes scarce metered parking all along the edge of the park.

As a first time visitor we were impressed with all the historical buildings decorated with lights and the luminaires along the paths. They have the best and kindest looking Santa and Mrs. Claus that does crafts with the munchkins. Dickens Carolers, puppet show, chestnuts roasting on an open fire and "When Pigs Fly" band are just a part of the entertainment. We plan to go back during the day and take one of the docent led tours.

I often visit this park when I visit my Mom in southern CA. For the $3 charge, it is well worth it. My brother and I often take a walk circumventing the lake, where people are fishing. There is a good path all the way around. I particularly like the winter birds and ducks in the area, of which there are often many.

Tours are by appointment only. HQ at Sorrano Historical Park in Lake Forest. Only one of two historical sites in Orange County (Nixon Library). The home is a secluded area of Mojeska Canyon. I am of Polish heritage, which made it doubly nice. Beautiful scenic drive. Best in the spring when everything is in bloom. Docents are very knowledgeable.

Pageant of the Masters

Located on the Festival of Arts grounds is one of the most unique theatrical productions in the world, the Pageant of the Masters. Watch real people be magically transformed into life-sized re-creations of famous works of art. A live narrator guides you through the story of each living picture accompanied by a full orchestra. Shows are nightly. There is nothing like it anywhere... only in Laguna Beach.

Reviewed By devotees108 - Laguna Beach, California

Every year, the Pageant chooses famous paintings which are depicted by people dressed in the same costumes as the ones in the paintings. With special stage design and lighting, the audience perceives the paintings to be paintings until they get a demonstration on how it is done. A live band plays beautiful music during the showing.
