One the excellent spiritual place in Gujarat India....... very important feature of the place is spiritual vibrations of the place.......holy Saint santram ji was Punjabi by origin made Nadiad as his place of spiritual worship and decided to go for a peaceful end of life means he surendered to death willingly in a pit ,went for permanent meditative silence telling his followers to fill the pit with earth and antomb his body.......still the vibrations of his meditation can be felt by visitors.

This is very famous Swaminarayan temple. Campus was very big and spacious. There was very good facilities for parking. Idol of lord was very beautiful.

current temple complex is set in a large square setting. Four gates pierce the outer walls at the cardinal points. Various offices and storerooms are set around the outer perimeter of the temple. The actual temple ( built in 17th century ) is set on a high platform in a complex, set in the style of medieval temples from the region.
