I live very near the Woodland Sanctuary and besides its beauty and wonderful wildlife and vegetation, the people are gracious and caring. Thanks to the proximity, I get to go there frequently. Even when I don't thanks to being close I see the most wonderful array of birds and butterflies in my back yard. I urge everyone to support its goals and projects.

It's really too bad. Very comfortable seating with the recliner seats. The problem is that the staff is so incompetent and rude that I'll never go back there. I asked for tickets for a particular movie, and they gave me tickets for a different movie. When I brought it to their attention they didn't even apologize. They acted like I was trying to rip THEM off! They finally gave me my money back, but I never got to see my movie. Another time I asked for a ticket for a show at one particular time but they gave me a ticket for a different time that the movie was showing. What are they smoking?

We wanted to see a limited release film so we travelled to this theatre - about 35 minutes away. The only seating available was in the first or second row. I was concerned, but it was fine. Great chairs, decent restroom.

Kensington Antique Row

A series of intriguing antique stores.

Plan at least 4 hours to see some of the shops. There are specialty shops (clocks, China, etc.) as well as many with a hodgepodge of variety. Price points range from 50 cents to the sky. I find that many times this is better shopping than a flea market and I often notice numerous buyers from outside the DC area regularly shopping for "finds". This is a place to return to over & over again.

Cabin John Regional Park

There is lots of playground equipment, but the highlight is the train ride. You may have to wait, but it's worth it. The playground is divided into different areas for different age groups. The only problem with the park is that it is so good that it is very crowded, especially on weekends. Enjoy!
