They have ALL TYPES of fresh vegetables, fruits, some meats, spices, nuts, just about anything you need for the kitchen. They also have goodies for the kids. A great experience for the entire family. We live in Texas, but go to Iowa once or twice a year, we will continue to visit this store, happy shopping.

A very charming historic downtown in a quintessential small Iowa town. There are so many things to see and do here including stopping by the Kalona Creamery and Golden Delights Bakery. It's only about 20 minutes outside of Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

Kalona Creamery has delicious cheese curds, fudge, ice cream, cheeses and dozens of gifts. Watching the cheese curd production through the big window is fascinating, The display of Amish and Mennonite History is very informative. The staff is very friendly. Kalona Creamery is a must-stop when visiting the Kalona, Amana Colonies, or Iowa City and Cedar Rapids areas.
