If you are into collectibles, this is the place for you. Most of the booths had good prices on their items but there were some booths that were just priced too high for the items (we just laughed walking through those booths). If you are observant you would see the same item in the same condition in more than one booth. One booth would be $50 and the other booth would have it for $125. I would suggest not buying the first thing you see. There could be another one for a much lower price. We did walk out with a few things and if in the area again we would certainly stop.

North Carolina is starting to have some very acceptable wines. Raffaldini's defineitely has wines worth drinking. We drove out here from Winston-Salem (35 - 40 minutes) and were very pleasantly surprised with the grounds, the building, the views, the porches and decks, and the wine. The tasting was reasonably priced ($12 for 8 wines and a glass). We brought some out of town friends and all had a good time. Next time we will bring some food, buy a bottle and sit out on their patio or picnic benches and enjoy the view and atmosphere.

Of all of the NC wineries we've been to over the last 3 years and thie weekend this was our favorite. Great wines, great live music (harpist and violinist) and over the top hospitality. Joyce and.her husband the tasting room manager made this a truly wonderful experience. Even though they are supposed to close at 5pm on Sunday, we were there until 6 as we're several othets. Even as we were walking to our car, Joyce was walking out with us giving us the history of the winery as a former dairy farm. Excellent wines. Excellent service. A must see!

Shelton Vineyards

Founded in 1999 by Brothers Charlie and Ed Shelton, Shelton Vineyards was envisioned as a new agricultural resource for an area once dependent on tobacco farming. Located in the heart of North Carolina's Yadkin Valley, Shelton Vineyards is 180 degrees from any winery you will find on the West Coast. The distinctive characteristics of Shelton wine come from the unique soil and climate of the Yadkin Valley. This helps give Shelton wine an inimitable taste that holds its own against any wine from any area in the world. We invite you to visit us, try our wine and see if you agree that our wine is as unique as the area we are in.

Visiting Elkin NC and stopped in to try wines. Its not a vineyard, they make their own blends from grapes from all over the world. They had many very tasty blends along with house blends they ferment themselves. Owners are extremely knowledgeable, nice, and lots of fun! Be sure to try the Afta Dinner D'Lite with Port-like qualities!

Midnight Magdalena Vineyards

Welcome to Midnight Magdalena Vineyards where we are “Raising Authentic Wines.” We are a family owned and operated vineyard located on over 50 acres in the Swan Creek AVA. The long days of sunshine and unique micro-climate of our vineyard provide an excellent setting to produce the quality grapes for our authentic wines. In April 2013, we planted our first vineyard blocks of Merlot, Riesling, Traminette and Corot Noir (the first vines planted in North Carolina) on about 6 acres. We had our first harvest in 2015, producing about 670 cases of wine. Our focus is on dry wines, and current offerings include a Dry Riesling, Traminette, 2 dry rose' wines, Merlot, and our signature red blend. Our Tasting House opened in October 2016, and in April 2018 we will be planting about 4 acres of four new varietal vines in the field in front of the Tasting House. Wines from these new vines should be available in 2021.

Been dropping by or driving by here for years while visiting the larger vineyards in the area, however our last visit helped to improve our opinion of LG Vineyard.
The new facility addition has greatly improved the look and feel. The entire grounds are very well kept and you can tell the owners care.
You can now visit here and no long feel like your at a roadside produce stand as in the past with the new patio now in the rear.
We were impressed with the improvements.
