I was hesitating to climb the mountain in the winter, but it is definitely a must do! It was so amazing with the snow. The path itself was 'easy' to walk and to follow. Tip: buy crampons at the start of the trail (12,000 krw (I think) for the cheap ones).

We came here to the Seongsanhang Port Passenger Ferry Terminal to take the ferry to Udo island but the ticket counter was closed on 1st March 2018 which was a Thursday at 12pm , went and asked another ticket booth counter nearby and the lady told me in mandarin language that it's close due to bad weather as it was a windy day .

We spent a very nice day at the beach. Nice white sand, warm water. There is a place to rent lifejackets and floating articles. Not too much people in september. A lot of pkaces to eat/have a drink nearby.

This place will be good for nature lovers and those who are in Jeju to relax and get away from busy city life. It only takes 1hour to cover the area at a slow pace. You may get a chance to see autumn foliage here from mid to late Nov as there are quite a number of maple trees in the forest. (Note: Autumn is mild in Jeju, while northern parts of Korea are having colourful autumn foliage, we hardly see any colourful trees in Jeju till we came to Bijarim forest)

It's a tourist packed beach in the summer time. It's quite expansive so you can go to your own spot thats semi private. Recommend you to travel outside the vacation period unless you love swarms of families with children.

Jeolmul Natural Forest is a must-see in Jeju Island. I really love the lush greenery in the forest park. There are many trails, each with different length and level of difficulty. We only had slightly less than 2 hours in the park. Therefore we only managed to walk the Samwool-gil trail followed by climbing the Oreum Trail (many steps, may get slippery if it rain) and explore the relaxing garden/ pond area. If I come again, I will allocate at least half a day in this beautiful forest. The entrance fee in only KRW1000, and there was a small stall at the entrance whereby you can grab a coffee or buy something to eat. Do not miss it if you are in Jeju Island.

Went for a stroll after visiting Hanna Mountain. The cactus conservatory was impressive and we rounded up that part of Hallim Park with a thirst quenching cactus drink. Similarly the cool walk into the lava cave, and the connecting limestone cave was particularly enjoyable, taking shelter from the melting sun.
Highlight of this trip was feeding of birds inside a bird house. We purchased their food at the vending machine. Having them eating out of one's palm brought back fond memories of childhood.

This was a nice place in Jeju to take the kids, preferably in cooler weather because we went in July, and we were dying. Besides the weather, everything else was nice. There's a train that will take you to different stations. We only stopped at stations 2 and 3 because we brought our boys ages 5 and 7, and those stations had more stuff for them to enjoy. We probably could have stopped at all stations, but it really was just so hot! There were lots of places for photo ops, whether all cute or nature-like. The restaurant at the main building was very limited in the food that they sell. We ended up eating light food at station 2's cafe and also got drinks at station 3. All the staff there were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Overall, nice place to visit. Oh one warning though, our rental car's GPS brought us to different places even though we entered the correct phone number and even when we asked someone for help and they entered it in Korean. Just make sure you research how to get there because it was very frustrating for us.

Walking through a lava tube is an incredible experience. You can see the flow of lava on the ground, the different historical depths of lava flow is visible on the wall due to the layers of layers, and other features such as the world’s largest lava column and lava rafts. Truly remarkable and easy to see why UNESCO regards this sight so highly.
