This beach was beautiful and calm and well worth the 3-kilometer walk through the jungle to get there. When we were there (December 2018), the taxi driver knew right where to drop us at the trail entrance, and there were security people there to give directions (in Spanish only) and a person offering rides for hire (we walked instead). Directions weren't too necessary - there's just one left turn you need to make on the path, so we were grateful the man had told us about it, but we'd have probably figured it out. There were a couple of little eateries on the beach and a port-a-potty, so some services seem to have been added since prior reviews. It was lovely to sit and swim and watch the water. The only disappointment is that we'd read this was a beach the boats regularly bring snorkelers to and we didn't find any interesting snorkeling. However, visiting La Entrega after made up for it!

Beautiful islands in the view of our Barcelo Huatulco. The Bay is particularly beautiful at night with the lights in the distance & stars shining above the palms. We took Jose'Lopez Lopez tour to see the other bays with white sand beaches & variety of wave action. We did see sea turtles, dolphins, & others saw whales on the previous day. Its a great idea to limit resorts to a small area to reserve the natural beaches & habitat.

It was my first time scuba-diving. Virgilio and Carlos offered me the best experience, they were patient, helpful, and very clear in their guidance, both in Spanish and English. I can only recommend this team, whether you are novice or experienced. We had a great time together, saw tons of fishes including rays. Best diving spot in Huatulco!

Could walk from Santa Cruz here but up a very steep hill and with this heat recommend a taxi (about 60 pesos). Drop you off and a guy will meet you to take you down to an area with an umbrella and beach front (make sure you tip). It is hot and humid you will want cervasa and or water !! They will also keep an eye on your stuff ! Snorkeling is Amazing!!!! Seriously good with a huge variety of fish and so many to look at! It is easy waves with little work to get there and back !! Beginner snorkeling people a breeze and seasoned ones will love it as go past ticks and coral covered with fish ! Even just to go out to ocean to cool off is easy ❤️ Actually tried the oysters in the beach a young guy was serving - cool experience and didn’t get sick! Also tried the mango too - so delicious ???? Easy to catch cab back to Santa Cruz and driver stopped at view point so I could get picture ( Must do as view is incredible of harbours !) Namaste

You can learn how to surf on this beach as well as getting a mud bath, you can also walk down the beach to where a river runs down from the mountains to the ocean and take a refreshing cool dip. If you are some what of a bird watcher this is the place. Also a couple of good restaurants facing the great view of the beach, oh and not a lot of people.

Nice beach for snorkelling. Go along the rock on the left and right sides. Most of the restaurants have loungers. Just spend some money there and you can sit or lay there all day.
