We love HTC and have come attended numerous performances over the years. Such a great venue for these wonderful musicals. We just saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers the other night. It's one of our favorite musicals and HTC did not disappoint. Everything was great. The scenery, the music, and the actors were fantastic. It really is a wonderful little place to visit. We hope to return after they have relocated.

Fashion Place Shopping Mall

This mall has changed a lot over the years. There used to be much more variety in the type of stores. Now it seems that more than half the mall is pricey women's clothes and Makeup shops. They seem to cater to a narrower market;. Young women who don't care about price. We do enjoy the restaurants. And there used to be a TCBY's yogurt store that was always busy, but the manager said the rent was so high they couldn't make it there. Too bad. I have heard that the mall management charges too much for their space. I guess that's why the stores are more pricey.

Yet more massive, brutalist architecture, with a good attempt to soften it by instituting rooftop gardens. Lines were long for the Thursday evening rehearsal of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (this is the summer venue), but no worries, the hall seats 21,000. This choir ARRIVES PREPARED, with music already learned. What a difference that makes.

I researched it online, and they offer GREAT discounts for first time visitors.
They were able to accommodate both a first time 15 year old, and a seasoned veteran (myself) of massage therapy.
They did a perfect job, and my body was SO happy!

Silver Lake

Reviewed By sailgirl - Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Family reunion, and we needed a pretty yet easy walk which everyone in the group could manage. Silver Lake filled the bill. Wide, mostly flat trail around the pretty lake, some of it on boardwalk. Those in their 70s and even 80s in our group handled it with ease, and we passed families with little ones in strollers. For those who want to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful vistas of Big Cottonwood Canyon and stretch their legs just a little, this is recommended. (and afterwards, the more serious walkers can drive further up the canyon to Brighton and hike up to Mary Lake).
