The “modernist” design may not be to everyone’s taste but the temple looks a lot better when you see it in reality than it does in photos. The setting is peaceful, the atmosphere inside is quiet, and the information provided for visitors is unobtrusively available. And nobody looks for an admission fee or donations!

Hier kann man super leckere Cocktails in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen. Die Barkeeper sind Fachleute und zaubern aus einer riesigen Auswahl Spirituosen eine genauso große Menge Cocktails.
Zusätzlich gibt es Kurse und Whiskey, Gin, etc. Tastings.
Meine Empfehlung: Der Mai Tai ist der beste den ich kenne.

This is a large outdoor swimming pool within a very well appointed park. A great place to spend the many hot summer days. A large adult pool and ample kiddies pools with various features to keep the kids amused. There's a huge surrounding area with some trees for shade. Well worth a visit.

Small park with small nature-museum, a few Playgrounds and restaurant.
And a tower with fabulous view over the Taunus and Frankfurt.
Nice to go there for a day out or pick nick in the park.
Also possible to cycle in the surroundings with kids, because terrain is for the most part flat.
Entrance free!

I visited this place in December 2015. Far away from city mess, A small but very beautiful place with beautiful people around.
Must visit Eppstein castle, must have food in Kaisertempel restaurant that has the best food.
Again... Loved the place a lot and people and weather as well.

The Open Zoo is a private zoo located 20 minutes north of Frankfurt.

Visited this zoo many times. One of our favorites with nice play areas and interesting animals in nice setting. Great for young kids and families. Kids love feeding the goats, elephants and lamas. Take your own carrots rather than buying them there. Also, take your own picnic. Entry fee a little expensive without yearly pass.
