I stopped off in Remus Farms in November and was delighted to find a wide selection of locally grown apples on sale from Michigan and Indiana. In the accompanying photo they are, left-right: Empire, Fuji, Ira Red, Jonamac, and Senshu; I could also have bought Red Delicious and Jonagold. They were happy to sell me single apples from different varieties, rather than a huge bag all the same. In addition to local fruit they offer a wide range of fruit and vegetables from across the continent - recommended if you want something healthier than a muffin or donut on your journey between Chicago and Detroit!

It was a nice experience for my daughter and her friends they had the petting area and tractor ride we took great pictures surrounding the pumpkins it really put you in a great mood for the fall season and of course we purchased some goodies from the store cookies pies donuts bbq sauce and apple cider! The cherry apple cider was amazing! They had food trucks set up which was convenient or you could bring your own lunch we will be back!
