I highly recommend booking with Mahina Hawaii! Ryan was kind, professional and very accommodating to our needs/preferences. We had a blast hanging out with him and visiting some of the most beautiful spots of the island. We went snorkeling and swam with sea turtles, kayaking, and hiking to a waterfall. if you are an adventurous traveler looking for a unique experience--- go with Mahina! i have already planned to come back and book a full week. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!

My 12 year old daughter had a wonderful time riding horses! The staff were all friendly and helpful from the time I called to inquire until her ride ended. Well worth the money. The only disappointment was not getting to go to the place where...MoreAloha! We appreciate you taking the time to leave Gunstock a review. We apologize for not meeting your expectations. CLIMB Works - Keana Farms

CLIMB Works Keana Farms Zipline Tour takes participants soaring over a working agricultural farm. The tour consists of eight world class dual ziplines, two rapels, four sky bridges and few other surprises making it the longest and most unique zipline on Oahu. Lines average over 1,000 feet including one that is nearly a half mile long. The 3-hour guided tour also includes a fun ATV adventure to the ridge top, stories of Hawaii's rich history, tastes of some of the local fruits and constant panoramic ocean and mountain views of Oahu's famous North Shore.

Reviewed By BirdBear - Calgary, Canada

The 3-hour zip line tour was amazing! The tour guides were great. The lines are organized so that you gradually challenge yourself with heights and lengths of line. Take your camera!! We were told to leave them but the Tour Guides taking pictures don't always get a good one of you. If you have a good tight fitting secured fanny pack your phone/camera should be fine. 8 zip lines later! And great farm grown snacks. A little pricey but worth it! Amazing views! Would have been even better with more local knowledge; but all in all, it was great! Enjoy! Buy a T-shirt!

Kualoa Ranch

Reviewed By Brian M - Fulton, Maryland

Our family did both the 2-Hr Horseback Ride and the Zipline. I would give the Horseback ride through the valley to see the movie sites a 2-star rating as there is very little to see. I would give the Zip-Line a 5-Star rating. In fact, the drive up to the Zipline area was a more informative tour of exactly the same sites as the horseback ride. So, if you are planning to do both, save the money. Just do the Zipline - it's a great experience and the drive up there takes you through the same areas with the driver explaining things about the areas where movies and TV shows are filmed. If I had to do it again, I would save the time and money and cancel the horseback ride.

Ha - Breath of Life

Reviewed By Mark B - Spangdahlem, Germany

Ha--Breath of Life was the perfect culmination to an amazing day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. After the luau we walked to the theatre--the audience is in a covered area but the stage is open air. We had great seats-- being able to see the facial expressions of those on stage. The program you are given when entering explains the storyline of the production; but even if you haven't read it, you can easily follow the story. No photos or recording are allowed. The production is extremely well done--storyline, acting, and especially the dancing. The fire dance at the end was superb--absolutely amazing!! Afterwards, you can go meet and talk with the performers on the part of the stage closest to the seating.

Kokololio Beach Park

Reviewed By tdsbu - Dallas, Texas USA

We visited in December with three small children and four adults; everyone loved this beach. There is plenty of parking and a nice grassy park to run around away from the sand.
The best snorkeling close to shore is in between a) the spot where the small wall that separates the grassy lawn ends and b) the point of land that juts out into the ocean; this area is all coral right below the surface of the water. Then, if you're brave and the waters are calm, you can swim out northeast another 50 yards or so for a larger set of coral. The waters in December were a little too choppy for me to venture out further from the coral close to shore.
There is a bathroom and outdoor shower.

Hauula Loop Trail

Reviewed By Paul B - Gilbert, Arizona

The Hauula Trail loop is a a beautiful hike that is great for the entire family. There is a an elevation gain of about 900 ft so it is not necessarily an "easy" hike but very doable for all ages. My middle daughter who is 11 is not as into physical activities as my other two children (8, 16) but with several rests as we ascended the trail, she did just fine. The hike took us about 2.5 hours and was the perfect activity to take up our morning before we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center that opens at 12:00 and is 10 minutes north of the trail.

Parking is a little tricky as there is not a parking lot at the trailhead. Actually, there really isn't much of a trailhead at all. Just a little sign pointing out the trail. You will need to park on the side of road that leads to the trail sign just outside of the Hauula neighborhood. We asked a resident walking her dog where we should park and she told us to park on the side of the road in front of one of the houses.

There are some absolutely beautiful areas all throughout the hike and a few very nice lookouts. There was not much water flowing when we went but I could see where there would be a few nice little waterfalls during the rainy season. We did cross a few creeks but there was not much water flowing through them at the time we hiked.

Laie Hawaii Temple

Reviewed By Steven O - New York City, New York

This is a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple and is a very beautiful stop on our bus tour. We took some time to speak with the people, take a bathroom break, and just walk the grounds, fountains, and flower beds!

There are lined inward roadways and palm lined approaches to the shining White Temple on The Hill!

This is just a breathtaking place and worth some time to see!
