Catholic Church high up in the old part of town with great walks, alleyways and views. Also some street art worth discovering. Well worth the steps and time.

We took the citadina the free electric bus up the hill and meandered at a snails pace down the little streets checking out the menus and window shopping in the fancy shops, the views over the port are lovely. Loads of places to sit for a drink and to watch the world go by.

Quite unassuming from the outside, but inside it is all grandeur. Beautiful ceiling, large pipe organ and gorgeous marble detailing.

Le vieux port

The Old Port in Bastia is alive with Restaurants, it is so qaint with all the boats it can be a little unsteady in places with the cobbled stones so best ware flat footware! there is a stand where you can book boat trips out which i think for the adventurous (and young adults) would be really good fun! for us oldies lol it was just so lovely admiring the Culture, and the old buildings and achitecture! and enjoying the whole ambience, the Restaurants i didnt think were as expensive as i had been led to believe ( lots of seafood, italian ect)
