Quail Hollow State Park

A friend and I went during Angelic Arctic Christmas and had a wonderful time! There was a choir that performed and the mansion was beautiful to tour. We toured all of the buildings and each got a cookie. We went on a wagon ride through the woods and sang Christmas Carols and when we got back, we toasted marshmallows over a fire. A wonderful time and we want to do more things here! So very glad we went!

So. Much. Shopping! I like a bargain and getting GF/Veggie food options while I shop. You can get Bubble Tea at the Nom Nom Popcorn place & the new PangeaKeto place has GF/Veg&Vegan food you can take & eat, and the Maple View Market has the usual Amish-style baked goods, 4 bean salad, cheeses, candy, nuts, etc. for low prices. The right side of the market is nicely remodeled and to the left is all the antiques, Amish furniture, shops, and upstairs is more antiques, dog/cat shop, board & card game shops, while outside is an endless bargain produce market. I went this past Saturday, & there are a ton of vendors w/a lot of goods, mostly garage-sale style. Nice to spend a few hours to browse, and snack, and spend!
