Mosede Fort, Denmark 1914-18

Travel 100 years into the past, to a time when world war raged around Denmark. Explore the many surprising stores and immerse yourself in an era where Denmark is on the brink of war. Denmark must fight for its neutrality and avoid being drawn into the war. It is a time of trench digging, mine laying and great umanitarian efforts. The Danish welfare state is born as politicians intervene to keep the people united, while profiteers make a fortune off the war.

We stopped here just coincidentally. Didn't actually visit inside the museum so cannot say how much more there would be - and that's way the rating is not better. But if you're intersted in history and nature / nice view to ocean, then is worth to stop by.

You will find Marinas lying along Vestegnen’s coastline like pearls on a string. You should take your time to visit Mosede Harbour, a small local fishing harbor and marina with local authentic atmosphere. Here you can observe harbor life, hear the laping of the waves and at the same time look at the elegant sailing ships. Or you can enjoy an old-fanshioned ice cream cone on the pier and look at life in the harbor or perhaps you prefer to visit Det Nye Røgeri (the New Smokehouse) on the quay. A real cosy place with a terrase with a view of the harbour. I think at a reasonable prices, it seems like a hit during the summer and all year round.

Greve swimming pool is one of the largest swimming pools in Denmark and I think with offers for the whole family. In the basins you will always find toys for the youngest.
It is well known for its baby pool (33 C) and related facilities, among other it offers good changing facilities and a baby lounge where you can eat your own brought food.
It offers good changing facilities both shared and separate and in each of the showers are curtain so you have the opportunity for a bit of privacy if one may need it .
I think that in generally the pool have fairly high temperatures in both air and water.
You will have wireless network for free from the spectator seats.

A really nice green space, a recreational area and a real oases ( despite the noise from the high way). Although man made, Vallensbæk Marsh is a beautiful as any of Mother Nature's creation. The two interconnected lakes, Tueholm og Vallensbæk Lake, make up most of the area. The lakes are artificial made as rainwater basin, stormwater, in 1971-72. The water depth is low, the maximum depth is 1.5 meters. The surrounding landscape offers lovely nature activities for both children and adults. There is a rich bird life and good opportunities for anglers.
There is a restaurant right next to Tueholm Lake called Spisestedet Mosen. Somewhere in the marsh, about 400 meters from the parking lot, a troll is hiding! A giant, called Lille Tilde, made of wood located on the small peninsula west of the restaurant. It is created by the artist Thomas Dambo. It is a so called recycled sculpture made of local wood waste and other recyclable materials.
