Stayed at the Arch House on Reynolds Plantation for 4 days. What a fabulous location for a board meeting or indeed any meeting business or social. 6 bedrooms, games floor and more alcohol than the average TGI Fridays.

Not generally available to the public but what a great facility.

Be sure not to miss Madison as you're traveling down interstate I-20 or Hwy 441! A magical southern city just an hour east of Atlanta, Madison is the town Sherman refused to burn on his infamous March to the Sea. Its National Register Historic District is one of the state's largest collections of 19th century architecture, earning it a place on Budget Travel Magazine's 2012 list as one of "16 Most Picturesque Villages in the World" and Travel Holiday Magazine's 2001 "#1 Small Town in America." Madison combines with nearby Rutledge to house more than 170 antiques dealers, 40 boutiques and 20 unique eateries. Located right on Madison's downtown square, our Welcome Center is open 7 days a week to assist you with your traveling needs and we're always happy to show you the many things to see and do in our beautiful town! We had a few hours to spend in Madison and were glad we went first to the Welcome Center, where we were helped by Billie, a wealth of information about sights, restaurants, shops and the history of this delightful town. We ended our visit at the Center as well, and had an enjoyable chat with Nina.

Fine art museum dedicated to the work of German-born American expressionist artist, Steffen Thomas. Thomas is known for his large body of public works sculptures but the museum also contains exquisite examples of his drawings, paintings, ceramics, and mosaics as well as sculpture. Thomas lived and worked in Atlanta from 1929 till his death in 1990.

We visited here while traveling in the area and am so glad we did. This is an interesting retrospective and homage to Steffen Thomas, sculptor, painter and artist. The staff here could not have been more accommodating and gave us a private guided tour, answered questions and provided us with history and insights into the artists and the area. I loved my time here.

Riders are reckless. Owner plays favorites. Owner (Mike) verbally abuses children. Called us curse words in front of the children. Told us to leave because we asked for clarification on rules. Mike is just completely out of control. Alone or with my kids, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. Read all the negative reviews, I wish I had!!

What a super cool find in the Oconee area. An absolutely incredible selection of cars that you can see for 5 bucks. Air conditioned so you can go when it's blazing hot and you need to kill time when you are not on the lake. We took the kids and they enjoyed it as well. You can't beat the value.

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee offers a new treatment menu showcasing the ESPA product line, updated relaxation lounges, 24-hour access fitness center, expanded women's lounge and enlarged manicure and pedicure room.

I had 2 treatments, the Surrender to Serenity and a facial. Both therapists were excellent and the services were very relaxing. There is citrus water and trail mix and nuts in the lounge waiting area. I think it would be nicer if the locker and dressing area were not so close to the lounge area. It can get loud which disrupts the relaxation.

The prices are high but what you would expect from a luxury hotel spa. They automatically add 22% gratuity so be prepared. It was still a great experience. I will definitely be back.

Defined by a dramatic routing along the Lake Oconee shoreline, this Rees Jones design is a true risk/reward layout. The Oconee course offers inspiring lake views while presenting options to play shots over inlets of Lake Oconee, or carry corners of tree-lined doglegs.
