This beach is beautiful!
Down a winding steep road you will reach the breathtaking view of Kinnagoe Bay. A perfect spot to rejuvenate the soul with the fresh sea air from the wild Atlantic Ocean. A perfect spot to clear your head and De-stress and great beach to take the dogs too!

We had intended taking the ferry from Buncrana to Rathmullan but missed it as it was the first day of September schedule. We drove round via Ballyliffen and Carndonagh to Moville instead. Here the weather was much drier and we decided to walk to Greencastle. What a lovely walk, nice and quiet - well away from roads. Lots to see and nice views across Loch Foyle. Stopped for a cuppa at the museum in Greencastle before making the return trip. I'd take the distance with a pinch of salt as it felt more like miles than kilometres.

Culdaff beach is very beautiful. I just loved their 'wee library' located at the entrance (borrow a free book). It is very clean and boasts a 'blue flag'. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon here and a picnic (please leave the beach as you found it ie. rubbish free!

This iconic black-and-white striped lighthouse is one of the prettiest I've seen on the Ireland coasts. There's no access to it, but it's a treat to just savor the view of it while on the beach or passing through, especially for lighthouse enthusiasts. As a New Englander, I can appreciate its appeal.

You probably need to have more of an interest in maritime stuff than I do. I found it a tad "bitsy". I was also hoping for more on the wars. I don't think it was terribly well set up - needed a bit more chronology in some of it's displays.

Had a very enjoyable time with my son and a very patient instructor as I was a complete novice. Would highly recommend. My son subsequently had another session and as numbers were low benefited from 1:1 tuition.

Travelled from UK to play in a friendly comp arranged by brother in law. Played three times in a week in a variety of conditions, changing from gale force winds to almost flat calm on last day. Prob my favourite course, not too long, fairways not too narrow, nicely paced greens. Ideal for mid to high handicapper but plenty of challenges for single figure players as well! Incredible views all round the course. Welcoming staff in club house afterwards as well. Great value for you euro!

Went this morning for a wee look around the shop and decided to paint our own pot, we were greeted but the lovely dog Lacey who was super friendly. Had a nosey around then picked our pieces to paint. Left to our own devices which...MoreThank you so much for your lovely comments. Lacey does a very good job of the 'meeting & greeting' She loves people coming into the pottery. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

Built by the Moville builder and furniture contractor John McGuinness in 1956-58 (and blessed on 26 October 1958). Fanad granite was used for the lovely altar while the facade was constructed also from Fanad Granite and Prehen Limestone.
The building's exterior is a little austere, but internally it's lovely in its simplicity. Allowing for the altar, the main attraction is the hand-painted Stations of the Cross that were completed in time for the church's opening, by local artist Sheila McClean, a member of the Royal Ulster Academy, who is well-known for her Impressionist style. They are very, very interesting and well worth seeing.
Derek Hill, RHA, a great admirer of McClean's work, once said, "Her paintings capture the Donegal we all feel in retrospect".
The church is located in the town centre with plenty of parking available and is open from early morning until approximately 21.00.
