Top 10 Things to do in Glebe, New South Wales

March 3, 2022 Weston Hennigan

Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

Inner Balance Massage

"1.2.3 RE-SET! That is the best way I can describe the Inner Balance massage experience. No matter how tight your muscles are, noisy your mind is or even simply how energetically 'out of balance' you feel... from the minute you are greeted by Gerald and walk into the comforting massage room, you start to relax. After every massage I walk out feeling like a new woman; clear, focused, muscle tension gone and re-energised in the weeks following. Gerald is not only nurturing as a person but highly skilled in his craft. He is extremely intuitive in reading both your body and energy to provide you with the bespoke treatment for your ultimate benefit. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly!", Justine, Entrepreneur

Infinite gratitude fills me for Gerald and him stepping into this sacred work that is beyond any modality or concept. It is a multi-dimensional dance to a symphony of vibrations and frequencies, an interplay between the heart, body, soul, spirit and mind. Experiencing Gerald’s gift, his skilled, professional and clear touch which does not give any space for misunderstandings and his pure intent that provides a safe container, invites the participation of all aspects of oneself and empowers every cell, is an honour which I highly recommend to everyone at any time as it profoundly enhances well-being on all levels. Gerald reads the body and energy like a master conductor knows the cue for every instrument in his orchestra and delivers an absolute divine piece of art. This work is so crucial and needed and is only possible when it comes from the heart with full commitment and a clear intent. Doing body and energy work myself I know how important it is to be absolutely grounded and centred within myself to be able to provide such service. Thank you Gerald, from my whole being. Glebe Markets

Glebe is Sydney's most popular an inner city market. It is vibrant, alternative, bohemian and laid back. One minute you are looking at rare gems and crystals and jewellery and the next a group of people start a wild drumming beat. It’s cool and chaotic in a beautiful way! Glebe markets is the ideal place to find that cool, vintage or retro item. A brilliant place for the up-cycled, and reworked. Glebe has a cool vibe with a diverse style making it a great day out. Enjoy exotic food from all over the world Indian, Chinese dumplings or even freshly squeezed cane juice while you listen to the free music on the lawn.

Great markets with a wide range of goods to selection from ranging from clothing to personal goods and memorabilia. There are plenty of food stalls and stall holders are happy to haggle. Very affordable and highly recommended.
