The Station is designed beautifully and is one of the the nicest I've seen in Japan. The restrooms are very modern and clean compared to others plus I never encountered a crowd here. It was always quiet and comfortable.

Lovely temple, with so many interesting features--the "roaring dragon" overhead, the dark passage to the fateful lock, and a feeling of ancientness. Beautiful grounds and many smaller structures, shrines, and monuments well worth wandering through. The friendly folks at the lobby entrance have an English language guidebook for the temple that can be borrowed during ones visit, for those of us not fortunate enough to read Japanese.

Good access, casual free tasting and nice historic factory visit. You can purchase the wine of the year you were born. This place looks for big tour groups.

The Yamanashi Prefectural Museum is located in a sleekly modern building, surrounded by a lovely garden of water, rocks, and plants. The exhibits inside are beautifully done, from prehistoric artifacts to contemporary children's playthings. The highlight is the circular cavalcade of prefectural history in the center of the museum, where a detailed diorama illustrates everyday life centuries ago. The tiny dolls are beautifully modeled and clothed, each with its own facial expression and idiosyncrasies. Lots of hands-on exhibits; the children's plaything area is particularly fun. If you do not read Japanese, a Japanese-speaking friend is very helpful to get the most out of the museum.

We can eat very delicious grapes there. It are big and so sweet! We can eat grapes which we harvest by ourselves. And we can drink grape juice made in Misaka. It is made from only grapes without sugar and water.

Classy cellar door with an incredible range including koshu at its epitome..Wine lovers also get to purchase or drink Muscat Bailey but theirs is elegant.. Check out the unique techniques for the rich "ishigura wine." Heady but not Parkerised and made in a unique manner for over a hundred years. This is must- visit vineyard but do reserve for the restaurant which is elegant French with locavore produce. Reservations are essential for a reason as Tokyoites know the 90 minute train ride is worth it, In a rural setting too,
