Great hidden gem. We went to see the effigy but was very surprise at how much this park area has to offer. From archery targets, trails, educational placards, great wildlife, to a great viewing tower. It is free to visit the effigy and trails. If you pay a nominal fee you can enter the adjacent park with picnic areas, swimming, camping and even a boat ramp.

Crooked Pines Farm

This is not just a family business. This is our heart & home. We want to share it with you. "We are dedicated to bringing you products of the highest quality year round and providing your family with an experience of old-fashioned fun on the farm that will bring lasting memories." After working in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, Duncan Criscoe and his wife Angela decided it was time to begin a business that would offer high quality products at a reasonable price, but more than anything, bring back the customer experience that has been lost over the years. Every product that is offered by Crooked Pines Farm has been thoroughly researched and chosen based on the care and effort that went into the raising and harvesting of the product. Crooked Pines is the farm that has been in the family since 2006. The 82 acre tract is home to abundant wildlife. It has been carefully maintained to offer the wildlife every opportunity to thrive. It's a blessing to have the opportunity to use this tract to provide neighbors, friends and your family an experience of old-fashioned fun. We hope to be a part of your family traditions. We look forward to serving you when you visit our family farm. If you have any comments or product requests, please contact us and we will be happy to research your request and see if we can provide a product to meet your needs. We offer Farm Tours with hay rides, petting farm, crafts, country store, and other seasonal festivals/events.
