First time escape room experience. So much fun. The wardens and guards made the experience as well as the location of an actual gaol. Highly recommend.

Fantastic tour with a great insight of the goal... Hearing about the history and seeing the cells was a major eye opener ... Our tour guide was fantastic had an answer for all questions group was small and totally COVID safe. Definitely going back for the ghost tour ????

Quiet railway station with regular services to Newcastle and Maitland. Formerly a junction for the Morpeth line, which is still partly visible. Architecture is old NSW government railways (from a long by-gone era). Station is very useful to local residents. Visitors wanting a pub or meat pie, walk a few minutes south to Melbourne or Lawes Streets.
