This looks like an old furniture store. Large area and two floors. Elevator and bathrooms. Air conditioned. Many, many booths of variety of items. Need lots of time to look around. Very clean inside (old furniture store with a rug floor) and booth arranged so you can find your way around.

The last time I reviewed this, I only reviewed the museum, as we had unknowingly missed the opportunity to take the tour, so we just went back. The tour was GREAT! The cleanliness and organization of this huge factory and tour are impressive, the workers seem to be very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and our Tour Guide, Eithel, seemed very knowledgeable!
The tour is given on the hour, between 9 and 2. This info is hard to locate on their website (which was our problem the first time!). We took the hour-long Classic tour (The Steel Toe tour is longer, and a little more in-depth.), which is also free. I suggest that you go to the bathroom before you enter the theater (The tour starts with a film.), as there's no opportunity to go once the Tour Guide starts speaking. Headsets are handed out, after the film, so that one may hear the tour guide in the factory. One is also given a souvenir pin, in the theatre, which needs to be worn during the tour.
I'm really not a fan of motorcycles, because of the noise (one of the reasons), but I loved this tour! The noise of the motor of motorcycles on the rode, is far louder, and much more offensive, to me, than the factory was.
I usually don't like to revisit places, but I would go back here.

First off, I would like to point out that the nice folks at Martin's gave our family (and two other parties) a tour this past Tuesday even though they told me that they normally don't do tours the 2 weeks surrounding Labor Day. So thank you again!
A very nice elderly factory employee named Blair Norris took us on the tour which lasted for about an hour. We started the tour outside as he told us a little about the history of the company and as he showed us where the trucks unload the raw potatoes by the side of the building.
The majority of the tour was then held inside the building. We saw the production line, packaging area and the warehouse area; these were all located in the same building. Blair also offered all of us fresh samples of regular chips, kettle chips and sweetened popcorn fresh from the production line. (He informed us that Martin's only manufactures potato chips and popcorn.)
At the conclusion of the tour, Blair invited everyone to take a free snack bag of chips from their tiny factory store and said all store purchases would be 10% off.
Although our family enjoyed this tour, we enjoyed the Herr's factory tour (located NOWHERE NEAR this tour) slighty more. But both are very good tours if you're vacationing in the Lancaster, PA area like we were. Keep in mind that Martin's is a much smaller operation than Herr's (or nearby snack competitors Utz and Snyder's) so it's a more down-home, personal tour. We had a very nice visit and once again thank Martin's for allowing us to tour their facility during their usual no-tours period and would also like to thank Blair Norris for his time and for a very nice and informative tour.

Great place to see and pet baby calves. Plus, the cakes in the store were incredible! The ice cream and diary products were very good.

Gifford Pinchot State Park is a nice trip to take for a day trip, kayaking, swimming, or hiking. One is able to do all of the classic camping activities there. However, I have been to better campgrounds before. The bathhouses were somewhat low-scale, and I have seen much better bathhouses before. My boyfriend and I rented out the Willow cottage, which was my favorite cottage because it was somewhat secluded from the other ones. It was a tad bit farther back with brush in between the cabin and the next cabin. It also had a beautiful view and, in general, felt more private than other cabins/sites. You can actually feed the fishes that swim up to you at the lake, which is a nice touch. The cabin was average, with a fan, 3 bunk beds, and a larger queen sized bed. It was adorable. It also had a spacious front porch and came equipped with a table, chairs, and cleaning supplies. The campground requests that you clean the cabin before you leave, so keep that in mind. There is also a water spicket closer than the bathhouse for the cottages/yurts, so do not make the mistake of walking the whole way to the bathhouses for water like my boyfriend and I did. The swimming section from the Willow cottage is somewhat far, and I would recommend driving there. The bathhouses on the beach are nicer than the ones on the site, but the showers are very cold. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip, but I have experienced better. One final recommendation would be to remember cash!

We attended a game here last summer. Nice smaller stadium, clean and offered food and drink. The ticket price was very reasonable and made for a memorable experience with my son. They even had super funny entertainment in between plays with mascots and crowd driven activities. Fun time.

We welcome all age groups to visit. It is our pleasure to educate everyone about our farm and the dairy industry. A tour of the complete operation is approximately 60-90 minutes. You may schedule to feed a calf, if you wish. Some highlights around the farm include: the birthing center, the cow kitchen, the cow house, and where the cow goes to work.

During our last camping trip we went to the Walk-Le Holsteins Dairy Farm. We were warmly greeted by the Walker family. They gave us a very cool tour of their working dairy farm. We got to mix the "baby" formula the calves, give them their food, and feed them with bottles. We then went to their large barn and learned about how they keep their barns and cows clean, cool, and feed. We also got to see some of the large machinery they use of the farm for spreading fertilzer and mixing food for the animals. They showed us the ingredients of their food and how they mix it together. They showed us the pregant cow area for mama's about to give birth. Lastly they showed us how they milked the cows. Very fun and informative. Plus the Walker family was so down to earth, so willing to answer questions and share about their lives as a dairy farmers. Definetely worthwhile!

My wife and I stopped in on Saturday to visit the market during Christmas season. A large variety of eating options were available. this has been transformed from a farmers' market to a dining delight. Wide choices and ethnic varieties available. From Henry's ham, deep fried chicken to Puerto Rican food and food of Africa. Pastry shop is also noteworthy in the northwestern corner.

We are a small family run farm, that has been raising alpacas since 2001. We will share our knowledge of these lovely animals with you. Our tour includes meeting our award-winning animals, learning about husbandry, breeding and their fiber production. We have an on farm store that is filled with alpaca yarn, fiber and beautiful wearables created by local artisans.

Visit a working alpaca farm where you can touch the animals to feel the fine fleece. See the products that can be made from alpaca. If you are lucky, you can assist during shearing in the spring, or visit during their annual open house in the fall, usually on the 2nd weekend of Oct.
