Visited Darlington Raceway for the 2017 Southern 500 NASCAR event.

This was my first ever trip tona NASCAR race and I travelled with my father from the UK.

We were not disappointed.

The race track was fantastic, the facilitiea were excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Getting into and out of the car park was so quick and easy. There were toilets everywhere and the site was very well sign posted.

Will Call for ticket collection was quick and easy, entry to the grandstands hassle free and our seats in Brassington Tower were perfect.

Plenty of food outlets to feed and rehydrate yourself and lots of merchandise on offer.

We had a great time at the Southern 500. The only disappointment was that Truex did not take the win in the 78.

We experienced Darlington Racetrack using our motorhome. The park was located on the backside and not much was provided that you would usually find in a campsite. Although NASCAR had nothing to do with the campsites, it was our first time and i probably went expecting more. Overall, good memories.

Get behind the wheel in one of our 8 – 80 lap driving programs or Ride-Along shotgun for 3 high-speed laps at over 20 tracks nationwide – including Darlington Raceway!

This was my third ridealong I've done with Richard Petty Driving experience. I did Atlanta 2 years ago, Talladega last year, and did Darlington in May of this year. Wow, Darlington was such a rush! The staff at RPDE have been great at each of my experiences, and the crew at Darlington was no exception. They don't herd you around or control you behind the pit wall. You can explore a bit (within reason), and take all the pictures you want. And, if you've never strapped yourself in a race car like this, you HAVE to do it! It's like the best rollercoaster ride you've ever been on. It amazes me that the pros do this for 500 laps alongside 42 other cars! 3 laps of the ridealong will leave you breathless.

You can smell the dust as soon as you walk inside. The first area you come to looked pretty good so I wasn't sure where the smell was coming from. Then as we walked further back we knew. And the new smell of mildew showed up. There are layers of dust on everything along with spiderwebs and the furniture is all crammed together and stacked on top of each other.

If you are looking for collectibles, don't waste your time here. It's all furniture. If you don't mind breathing in dust (you could see it in the air where the light was coming in the windows) and getting dust and dirt on your clothes and hands, you might find something here. Even if I was looking for furniture I would never go back to this place.

Pee Dee State Farmers Market

Reviewed By ASH814 - Aiken, South Carolina

We were able to find delicious fresh produce at the Pee Dee State Farmers Market--their selection of seasonal winter fruits and vegetables was great. We purchased cucumbers, green beans, and rutabagas. They also had a variety of pickles, relishes and jams. We stopped there looking for artichoke relish but none was available; however, our trip was not wasted since we brought home produce that was fresher than that found in grocery stores during this season.

Came upon this gem at the Pee Dee Market, while looking for fresh produce as we traveled home to MD from FL. Amazing place. I fell in love with it and the owner Diane immediately. She couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating as she patiently searched through tons of wooden spindles to find me matching ones. Such an eclectic mixture of treasures to look at in a clean and well organized shop with phenomenal prices. This is a destination place alone to travel to in SC!
