Nel cuore della storia L’azienda agricola Barberis ha sede nella Cascina San Lorenzo, una dimora ricca di storia e attorniata dalle dolci colline che fanno da sfondo alla cittadina di Cortemilia, piccolo paese delle Langhe a pochi passi dai selvaggi Appennini. Ad oggi, la sua superficie di estensione totale è di 16 ettari, di cui 9 dedicati a noccioleti, 6 a vigneti e 1 a vivaio di viti e noccioli. E sono ben 9 i chilometri di terrazzamenti che serpeggiano tra i filari con le loro spesse mura di pietra ben visibili a distanza. Si tratta di antichi muretti a secco risalenti addirittura alla fine del 1800 ed è proprio grazie alla conformazione di queste terrazze, alla vicinanza del mare e al terreno marnoso, che si sono create le condizioni più favorevoli per raggiungere e garantire un elevato standard qualitativo della produzione.

Nice little shop for hazelnut cookies, sweets and products. Family owned, very friendly people. Everytime we are in Cortemilia we stop at Fratelli Caffa for some hazelnut treats.
