We took our son and his girlfriend on a hot summer day. Had a great time. Sometimes it's hard to have activities that please teens but this was perfect. My only complaint is that they need to be on time leaving. They did apologize. Ryan was a great guide. His low keyed humor fit our family.

We had a great time rafting the middle Ocoee with Raft One. We went the first weekend of October and unfortunately the leaves had not changed yet, but it was still a pretty ride. Never having gone rafting before, I was really nervous about falling out and I was expecting the whole ride to be class 3 & 4 the entire way down the river. We never tipped over, no one fell out and there were moments of down time mixed with moments of excitement. After awhile I was hoping to run across more class 4 as they were fun. My husband rode the bull and we got some great pics for $35 at the end of our trip. Our rafting guide Matt was great and I think that he made the trip enjoyable. I heard the other group talk about tipping and we didn’t have much cash so we gave what we had. I have no clue what the standard is, but I read on another site $5pp which seems a little low. Overall, great company to raft with and we had an enjoyable experience.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly....actually had a nice variety of beers to choose from considering their size. My groups favorite beer was the porter....but all were very good. One of the owners (Steve) was super friendly and accommodating. He hung out with us for a bit, chatted us up, and played awesome music the whole time we were there. This is a must stop for a beer lover visiting Blue Ridge....but be advised....they are only open from 1-5pm Thursday-Sunday and closed Monday-Wednesday...so plan accordingly. Thanks again Steve for the awesome hospitality!

We had a group of scouts & parents, Im 1 of the parents & from the initial instructions til the ending high fives I have nothing but great things to say. Trace our guide was informative, interactive & really went the extra mile to make sure we got the full river experience, he can also jump & hover over the boat as the boat is going over a rapid... That's the Flying part. He gave us information about the river & its history, there was never a dull moment. He made sure we got to surf the river, even when it meant jumping out & giving us a little push. This was my 1st experience ever rafting, my daughter was 1 of the scouts, she invited me on this trip, a year earlier Sept, 2016 I received my NED after a coming down with a little case of Cancer so this was an absolutely wonderful way to celebrate & prove there is life after Cancer. The facility is very clean, food, drinks, hot showers are all offered. Take the trip, you will NOT regret it! Thank You Trace & all the staff for a great day.

First, I have to say the driver was hoot. The river was cold but lots of fun. It was a very quiet, lazy time on the river. Get there early, and you may just have the river to yourself or very close to it. Take the 3 mile trip. It is worth it.

I golfed with two lady friends at the Old Tacoma Farm golf course today. What a beautiful and pristine mountain golf course. Currently there are only nine holes completed at this new course so we played it twice. It is a challenging course with pin placements that can change your vocabulary. However, we laughed about it and moved on to the next hole. I'm sure once you play it a few times, you'll have some good course management. The carts had GPS which was ideal for the terrain. It was a beautiful day, 80 degrees on November 2nd. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the course. We will definitely be back to play this beautiful course again. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful day!

Carolina Ocoee

Providing exceptional whitewater rafting trips on the Ocoee River in south eastern Tennessee. Focusing on providing the highest quantity rafting experience on the Oocee River, from our guides to our equipment.

Reviewed By awagmom - Springfield, Illinois

Two adults and a teenager walked into the Ocoee Carolina outfitters and asked about the next trip. They were booked but took the initiative to call in another guide so that we could join the next group heading out. This is a family-owned business and it shows in their attention to detail, their caring, and the pride they take in the training of their guides. We were lucky enough to have Eric as our guide; he did a great job teaching us how to help him get us through the rapids and sharing information about the area. He also shared that the guides have to be invited to work there and still undergo additional training, including having to get out of the rafts and go through the rapids in the water so that they'll know what it's like if any passenger falls out. The entire operation was very impressive indeed!

This was an incredible trip that my daughter and I will never forget!!
