Great views. Be respectful inside. I was disappointed to see the "no photos" sign being ignored, and done people trying to pray being practically tripped over! Don't forget to walk round the corner to the artists market.

Located in an ancient laundry dated from 1881, the Textile Museum provides you a wide range of the Industrial Textile History and its technics by means of demonstrations and guided tours. It is here, at the Textile Museum, where we weave the famous "Mouchoir rouge de Cholet" (the red handkerchief of Cholet).

Fascinating museum telling the story of textiles in Cholet, which was clearly big business. Extremely well laid-out and you really got a sense of life at the time. The first hall contains 4 weaving machines from early 20th century to modern days showing the evolution of the control mechanisms for the pattern and thereby punch cards and computing. There was a large group of French pensioners visiting and someone started up all the machines for them, which was wonderful to see and hear. Not sure if this is part of the normal experience.
Lovely garden with lots of plants used in textiles. Interesting to see how many plants were used for dyes.
Great diversion. Not terribly well set up for non French readers, but still well worth a visit.
And the shop is unbelievably good value. I bought some beautiful tea-towels made on site for 3.50€ each.

Great place to spend a whole day. We met up with friends and needed somewhere to all get together as we have large families. The whole place has so much to do and its all under one roof. We started with bowling which was excellent value for money, Then we had a drink whilst the kids played Beach volleyball which was free. Later on they had a go at Laser Tag while we played Pool. There are also arcade games, Badminton, Squash, short Tennis, 5 A Side pitches, Large bar area which overlooks the Indoor Go Kart track with electric powered go karts that can hit about 40mph. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, you will not be disappointed. One thing to note is the only food is from a trailer outside which was a bit pricey considering that it was basically a burger van, however there is a burger king just down the road in walking distance.

This office has friendly staff that provided useful information for the town of Cholet and the nearby places. The lady has suggested to visit the two museums in the area and offered respective maps.

Booked a hammam for two and a back massage in January 2013 for my sister's birthday Having our own room for the hammam was great. The back massage was also fantastic. This was a very relaxing experience. Going back in 2014!

Great facility, has the standard rink plus skate through to a different area with changing levels and twists and turns. Great for beginners and experts. Great day with the family. We have been here several times.

Very quiet and charming lake. Was only have a nice lunch a t the lake´s restaurant, but we´ll be back to walk around and ddiscover the beauties of this place.
