Changwon is a paradise for birdwatchers, who flock (pardon the pun) from all over the world to peep at Korea’s largest migration site. Junam Wetlands Park, in particular, is a popular spot to watch thousands of birds flap their wings. The Musical Fountain in Yongji Lake is an equally spectacular sight, as are the sculptures exhibited at the Gyeongnam Art Museum. Local alkaline hot springs are perfect spots for unwinding after a day of gazing and exploring.

The best time to visit is late March/ early April when the cherry blossoms flourish. Take the subway to Sasang station and then the long distance bus to Jinhae. From the bus station, walk to Yeojwacheon. It has a long stream with numerous crossing Bridges. There is not much water in the stream so one can walk close to the stream. Avoid going there on the weekends or April 1 when the crowds are huge. The decorative lights come on at around 7 pm and the place is stunning. Leave by 8 pm to walk back to the Jinhae bus station to catch the last bus. One should see the cherry blossoms in the afternoon and then continue on to see them at night, to gain the full experience of the excitement. There are big crowds during the cherry blossom period (late March to early April) but the place is quite orderly (the visitors have good manners and do not push around).

This is a great place to visit if you're looking to see cherry blossoms in full bloom. There is lots of street food and we even came across a Turkish shawarma stall but can't vouch for it being halal. Public toilets are available but not always clean, so I'd suggest making sure you have lots of tissue, sanitizer and plenty of wet wipes on hand. There's a lot of rush here, so if you're looking for a relaxing and quiet visit, it's probably better to go early in the morning on a weekday.

This offers the best spectacle of cherry blossoms in South Korea. Understanding that blossoms are also quite auspicous for asian, expect to see large crowd of chinese tourists . It becomes really crowded . Its only there for 10 days and I recommend if you happen to be there during the time. Choose a tour group which can help manage logistics.

Excellent convention center with good facilities.Adjacent to the convention centre is Hotel Pullman Ambassador. Next to hotel is a shopping mall with several restaurants including fast food restaurants such as Mcdonald, KFC etc

I went to Jinhae in late March and visited the Eco-Park which was located further down the Yeojwacheon Stream. Not hard to find. It turned out to be quite disappointing as there were very few flowers, nothing like the cherry blossom laden Yeojwacheon located at the park entrance. Food was not allowed into the park.Took only one picture (of a willow tree). Maybe a good place to take a leisurely walk.

Changwon house is not a day long thing, maybe an hour or 2. I enjoyed it and took it slow. So many really historical items. I like this kind of stuff though.It is a home from Koreas past with the tools, home, everything they would have used. Covers detail like how they heated the home.

Youn can enjoy fresh air and flowers there. In particular, you can see many migrant birds in Winter. Many photographers gather here to take nice pictures of flying birds. It is also good to walk around the Reservoir. It'll take one to three hours to walk around it. It's also good to take shots of sunsets.

We took a taxi from Jinhae - not sure if there are buses that go there. It was such a hot day that we did not want to even chance the commute. The marine park part was interesting, they have some nice shell collections. It cost won 6,000 for 3 adults to enter (there is undercover parking if you go there by car) The 28 floor marine solar tower was very interesting. There was a fee to go up to the top of the tower (can't remember what it was) the view from the top was incredible and although the day was very hot and visibility was poor, I imagine that on a clear day it would be awesome. One whole side of the tower is made up of solar panels! Impressive. Very little English explanation and detail so we were unsure of the details but absolutely worth the visit. They have a navy vessel that one can apparently board but it was closed when we were there ( Korean Thanksgiving holidays)
to get back to Jinhae the man at the entrance gate was kind enough to phone for a taxi for us. He really went out of his way and with his limited English and our almost non-existent Korean we managed to get home. This place is out of the way and en route we did notice what looked like huge shipyards.

Individually im not interesting taking hot bath(tup) in summer.
But !
If you are feeling Cold? Don't ask. Just Go.
And then when you finish bath, Go first korean restaurant (temporary building or nomal anywhere)
and then order this
"Makgeoly (traditional alcohole), Tofu-(dooroochygi or kimchi).
there are local specialties.
If you come there in often~winter, try this fruit 'Gaam-감(persimmon)'
