Came here in late Feb while visiting family and friends and there was still some snow from the previous week which made some of the rocks quite slippery, so make sure you wear suitable boots at this time of year as there was also a lot of water from melting.
The trail we used was great fun as it wound it's way between the rocks and there are some great views of Boston and the surrounding coast and countryside.
If you enjoy walking with a little rock climbing then this is a must when visiting the area.

The Hall at Patriot Place

The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon is an exciting, innovative and interactive, modern museum experience for all ages. The Kraft family, in an effort to preserve team history and honor the greatest Patriots of all-time, built and opened The Hall in 2008. It has since undergone championship renovations to enhance its Super Bowl Experience exhibit, which takes guests inside the team’s five Super Bowl wins. It includes the sparkling Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophies and championship rings, an interactive that allows guests to virtually make Malcolm Butler’s Super Bowl XLIX-clinching interception, and the new Anatomy of a Comeback area that breaks down the Super Bowl LI win. The Hall regularly adds to its collection and changes out artifacts and exhibits to ensure a fresh experience.

I brought a group of >10 there last night. I was really impressed with the organization and high awareness of our group's needs throughout the night from several staff members. Amanda & Molly, our servers, were especially helpful and added some humor along the way. They were there when we needed them but not hovering...what more could you ask for.

The facility is very clean, very modern...hardly would know you were in a bowling alley, as the Kings design concept is clearly more-than a bowling alley.

Booking, ordering, and execution were all on point that left our group feeling like it was a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Extra kudos for dealing with dietary restrictions for the group as well with clarity & compassion.

Stroll meandering pathways and cross artisan-built stone bridges at this family-friendly park of open fields, groves of trees, and frog ponds.

I did a nice 3 mile run around the park which basically meant I ran on every trail. There is a nice network of trails, some stone, some dirt, some grass. You can wander all around the park and never get too far from where you parked. There were a lot of interesting bridges and the gates at different entrances were unusual. I used the port-a-john near the tennis courts and was happily surprised to find one of the cleanest public restrooms I've ever used (and I'm out there a LOT). :-)

Fuller Craft Museum

This place is such a gem. More people need to frequent it! Not only is it set in a beautiful environment with a lake replete with classic swans swimming, but there's an outdoors sculpture/sanctuary type landscape as well as the beautiful architecture of the main exhibit building itself. The exhibits I saw recently were outstanding. Old glass repurposed in wonderful and fanciful ways as well as an outstanding modern tapestry exhibit. There's always some community based exhibits as well as the museum seems committed to partnering with the local schools and children to support artistic development. There's a delightful walkout onto a terrace which sits right on the lake. You feel as if you are in a floating Japanese style space. Tho the snack cafe wasn't opened when we visited it seems a perfect place to sit with or without food. There is ample free parking and its so refreshing to be outside the city in a short, traffic free drive to see good art/crafts. Can't say enough good things about this place!

The staff assist you with creating a beautiful glass pumpkin, paper weight, jewelry, or some other kind of item. With their assistance you are able to learn the ropes and create a beautiful product at the end...safely. We had a great time and I love the glass items they create here.

I brought my daughter here because it was raining out. We got the wristband with the general admission and plaster painting, laser tag, and unlimited bowling. My daughter had a great time, the play place is fun and there's 1 indoor bounce house. We thought there would be more bounce houses but regardless she had a blast and made new friends. Its a great way to spend time if its not so nice outside. I wish we didn't live so far away or I would have signed her up for their summer camp program!

The name says it -- tree top adventures climbing and balancing and zipping, all with an amazing safety system automated so any age, any language speaker can enjoy the experience. It is physically and mentally challenging, and each person can choose his or her own difficulty level, although everyone must do easy to intermediate before expert. It is like an aerial obstacle course with zipping and a few rappelles. Go off peak for lower wait times (price breaks for evening and groups of ten or more). The price is worth it, divided over all the hours of adventure! I went with three other adults and six kids ages 11-15 and everyone loved it. Enthralling respite from brain-oriented daywork!

Castle Island Brewery

My husband and I came here for the first time. We never saw it before the expansion but it was pretty big which was great. They have some picnic tables inside and then some seats around the edge. It's a big warehouse where you can see all the cans and the tanks. A huge screen was showing The Office with subtitles. There was a game of corn hole going on. The guy serving told us we could taste anything for free to make sure we liked it before committing. We tried a few and then each got 3 of the 4 oz size. I had the lager, the chuck and the coconut porter. They were all good. My husband got the IPAs. He liked them all as well. The only thing that I thought could be improved upon was the food. You could get pretzels...a large bag of hard pretzels. A family near us got a large bag of tortilla chips and a container of guac like you'd buy at the super market. I'm not sure why they bothered with that. I'd suggest either having free nibbles or just stick with the food trucks. They did have one of those there when we went.

My dad tried out the 737 simulator at this location. He’s tried this at another location, but this place was definitely the best! The difference was even more than “night and day”. The instructor Alec was amazingly smart and a great teacher. He took the time to explain the reasons for every action. Will definitely be going back again! Me and my husband got to observe the whole flight too which was really fun :)

Thanks for a great time!
