Cala Blanca Beach

This is a small sandy beach overlooked by several restaurants; you can hire loungers and parasols, but the charges are a little high; popular for swimming and snorkelling, although the water is not that clear in the shallows, and it is necessary to swim further out in the cove to get good visibility for snorkelling.

Great swimming right out to the end of this narrow inlet with clear warm water. Great for snorkelling. Parking limited so get here early. Popular with locals. Fine white sand.

Visited a handful of times during our week stay and was brilliant each time. Very friendly staff and fairly priced drinks. Lovely mojito! Great little bar to see and watch sports and in a good location to stop and have a drink after walking around the shops

CALA DES TALAIER(cove of the watch-tower) is called after a nearby watch-tower(torre TALAIA D''ARTRUTX).On both my visits the beach at CALA DES TALAIER was much cleaner compared to the smelly posidonia-depostits at the larger PLATJA DE SON SAURER.If you want to do a short easy scenic strech of the CAMI DE CAVALLS I recommend taking a minibus to Turqueta and buy a ticket back in Ciutadella to use from son saurer .
This way you walk 1 hour to es talaier;have a swim and walk one more hour to son saurer parking and take the 17.45 bus to Ciutadella.

I went to Menorca on holiday on 1 May. I was in a group of 4 with two of us divers. We popped over to the dive centre on day 1 and told mikeal and christina we wanted to do some diving. When they said they only did shore diving i was a little put off, to their credit they offered to try find a company on tue island with a bout that was going out during our stay but at the time it was so early in the season.
I shouldnt of been the 6 shore dives i had with these guys were fantastic. The bay at their doorstep is really good for divers of all levels and teeming with marine life, swimthroughs and a great place for a night dive too!
I would also reccomend ray bay if you want to see 30+ rays in single dive and the slipway was my personal favourite.
Mikeal and Christina are a brilliant couple, very knowledgeable and friendly people. I hope they do well on their new venture at Dive Centre Cala Blanca they deserve it and i believe that they will.
Ask about the sign for starfish, if youre Reading this guys thanks again and sorry for the delayed review i have had trouble with my phone until now.

It is not worth making an excursion to as there are so many beautiful places on the island. But this is a small village for a great vacation to have has a base. As it is so small you are within walking distance to all amenities. Our hotel was five minute walking to the beach. The beach is small but beautiful. It has a shower and toilets. We took a swim every morning in the sunrise. In the evening you walk onto the cliffs to the left of the beach and you will have a sunset. From here you also see Mallorca.

This beach is very quiet and just past it if you keep walking there are even more secluded spots. The water is lovely and the rocky outcrops make it look stunning. I spent an afternoon picking up rubbish at one of the small Beaches as rubbish does wash up and get stuck. On the walk to the beach there are scores/hundreds of small rocky piles which look epic!
