If you are an admirer of Renoir or just an art lover, it is fascinating to visit this house situated in a lovely garden overlooking Cagnes sur Mer. Fascinating to see what this great painter surrounded himself with and to see what he painted - because he painted what he saw. A wonderful opportunity to explore further his life and his work. I really enjoyed this visit.

A very reasonable entry price, an amazing 4/5 storey building crammed full of modern art, capped by a tower with the most incredible 360 degree views of the surrounding area, well worth a visit. Parking can be tricky unless you arrive very early or out of season and the drive down (through very, very narrow streets) is a little frightening but all worth it for the chateau and a walk around the old town.
