The new brewery in Dinkytown had not been made yet, so this was the only one to go to. Honestly, not terribly impressive when it comes to the tour and facilities, unlike the new one that is finished by now. Nonetheless, you go to the brewery for the beverages and not to brag about architecture.

The beers are great and what more could you ask for? Cocoa bender was my favorite!

We were given a gift of a private pottery class for the two of us. We love trying new things and this was right up our alley. Ralph was our instructor. He’s both an excellent pottery artist and a terrific teacher. We’re actually quite surprised and delighted with how our projects turned out!

I stopped in for a beer on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few patrons sitting at the bar, and a few more playing pool. Not bad for that time of day. They have 6 pool tables. They also have pull tabs.

The interior is what you'd expect for a neighborhood bar that's been around for a while. Nothing fancy. The exterior is a strip mall.

They have a few TVs showing sports and a juke box playing music.

I did not have anything to eat, so I can not rate the food.

Rarely do you get a free museum with so much to see. Only noticed one exhibit which was not free. If I had to compare I would call it the Met of Minneapolis. Three floors of culture and you could easily spend three hours getting lost there. Highly recommend!!

Shingle Creek Trailway

Reviewed By garyaverill1 - Minneapolis, Minnesota

This path meanders for miles. You can start in Minneapolis and can go as far Coon Rapids which is over 20 miles. It is used by bikers, runners, walkers, and those running errands. There is a break near Bass lake Rd. where there is a shopping center but by going straight on Shingle creek parkway you get back on to the path. The path goes through a lot of parks and different terrains including streams, housing areas, golf courses, grasslands, etc.. I have seen squirrels, deer, beaver, hedge hogs, ducks, turtles, and possibly a badger. The signs on the pathway are not always helpful.
