Beautiful, mind-blowing, a feast for the eyes, unique and serene. One waterfall after the other tumbling down - awesome display of nature at this wonderful spot. A good work-out if you do all the climbs down and then up again but surely worthwhile.

Lakota Wolf Preserve

Reviewed By xraysta - Tinton Falls, NJ

First, if you miss the shuttle be prepared to hike straight up steep and muddy inclines to arrive at your destination. The destination is a fenced in area that houses very cool wolves, bobcats and foxes. That's it folks. You pay a sizable fee, used to support the preserve, to see a bunch of animals behind fences. We were disappointed that we could not walk through the preserve or get a closer look at these beautiful creatures. In addition, the staff is VERY rude and inflexible. They do NOTHING to make your stay more pleasant and if you are relying on donations to support your facility it may be a good idea to treat your guests with respect and kindness.

Land of Make Believe & Pirate's Cove

Reviewed By Dan A - Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Today I visited this attraction for the first time in about 23 years. And I must say it was a very pleasant trip down memory road. We planned a day trip to the land of make believe located in hope New Jersey not far from the Pennsylvania border. Right away I started to remember my times at this amusement park.
Right from the start they provide free parking. They also allow you to bring your own food into the park to a designated picnic area which saves you a ton on food costs. We visited on a hot Sunday so the park was very busy. Even though this was the case we were able to get the entire family on rides right away. We arrived at 10am and before noon the kids had been on about 8 different rides multiple times.
There is also a petting area with sheep, bunnies and turkeys. We ate our home made lunches and then arrived at the gem of the park.. pirates cove. With many exciting water slides, a giant pirate ship and an unlimited time lazy river, this is where we spent most of our time. (Yes. Unlimited time. You can go around the lazy river uninterrupted from open to close if you want.)
Even with the park being "very busy" as said by an employee. It only took minutes to get on slides or other attractions. With almost continuous access to rides. I would recommend this park to anyone. Extremely family friendly.
One drawback is the staff is mostly very young and inexperienced. They are friendly but maybe some more training would help. Other then that we all had a great time.

I haven't skied in almost eight years so I rented equipment and took a lesson. It was ideal for getting up and going constantly, I learned very quickly and easily with their slopes providing quality challenges. The bar area was nice enough but it's a sort of 'ski in ski out' location. Don't come for atmosphere, come to be on your feet the whole time

You can get a canoe anywhere- but you can't always find nice people who don't mind answering questions. They know everything there is to know about DWGNRA and are happy to help. I'll definately be back. Hopefully overnite canoe trip next time. Thanks!!

Hiked this with my two teenaged daughters and 9 year old son. They loved it. Great views of the river, a nice stream crossing towards the beginning and a bit of rock scrambling. Uphill all the way to the top. Grab a hiking stick at the trailhead, plenty of them have been left as this is also the trailhead for the Appalachian trail.
