Excellent family day out. Very friendly multilingual staff. Lots of options each with increasing difficulty. We (a family of 4 with 2 eight year old boys) tackled the Discovery, Nature and Adventure courses. Great value and highly recommended. A special mention for Alice - a very friendly and helpful instructor.

You can see Saint-Nazaire from a way off if you approach from the right direction, it sits on a promontory above the river which is why you get such amazing views from the Terrace in front. It looks like a bit of a fortress guarding the town. You can also walk through the cloisters and the bishop's garden which give you different views. Make sure you're appropriately dressed if you want to go inside - there are signs requesting it.

If you are very interested in canal navigation it would have been perfect. But not worth driving out of your way for! You now have tp pay for parking your car and it is a good ten minute walk with crowds of people in high season.

This is a new very clean Shopping Mall with underground parking. My wife and daughters enjoyed the shops and we all enjoyed the rooftop restaurant

An beautiful avenue of trees that line the road from the Garden of the Poets to the high class Theatre. The high class department store of Gallery La Fayette with the casino (supermarket) next door reminds one of the past years of wealth and the reality of the present day. There is works taking place along side the avenue where they are upgrading a children's park. Plenty of restaurants line the avenue and markets take place on most days. a good place to be! You could imagine back in the 19th century people strolling up and down the avenue in their best clothes.

Absolutely beautiful church. Steeped in history and lovely people inside to speak to. It's also right next door to a carpark, so you don't have to walk very far. Lovely salon du the next door too!

On a miserable day, so thing to do! What a fabulous surprise. A marvellous museum, full of interesting surprises. Lovely helpful staff and crammed full of interesting information about not only Beziers but the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch in a lovely restaurant in the Halles a couple of weeks ago. Ambience terrific, food fantastic and great service. There was an extensive menu with dishes and wine to suit every taste and price. Had walked around the Halles earlier in the morning and were so impressed decided to go back for lunch. Some restaurants were busier than others, but the one we chose (sorry, I can't remember its name - but it was quite large) was popular with locals and visitors alike. We'd certainly revisit, possibly choosing the same restaurant...or perhaps another as they appeared to be all of a high standard.

We enjoy browsing through small museums and these two - Musee Fayet & its counterpart - Musee Fabregat are well worth the combined 3 Euro admission charge. Paintings in one and sculptures in the other. Mostly of local artists. Of particular significance was the painting/sculpture of the Monument Aux Morts de Beziers. The actual monument we found later at the end of the Poets Gardens.

Noted the Arena as a place to visit while in Bezier. However, it was closed every time we passed by. We found out later that it only opens for certain events - bull fighting and Concerts. Even so, we captured a pic to upload as it is quite large and appears to be in relatively good shape.
