Escape Zone

Escape Zone is a fun, new type of entertainment. It is a real life adventure game designed for small groups of 2-10 people. Your goal is quite simple, work together as a team using the elements of the room to find clues and solve puzzles. Although the goal itself is simple, escaping the locked room in under 60 minutes will test your wits and prove to be challenging.

We were recently in Moundsville, West Virginia for a class and had some free time the day before. We decided to stop in and check out this awesome museum. Once you walk through the door you immediately feel the energy surrounding everything on display in the museum, it is truly unlike anything you've ever experienced. Mr. Hummel was very welcoming, and very engaging when we asked about some of the items in his museum. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the town's, the West Virginia Penitentiary, and every item in his museum's history, which made the experience just that much better.

In the museum you'll find that he has a little piece of almost every paranormal event or happening from around the world. I don't want to give away too much information, because there is no way to describe in words what you will see, and feel, inside the museum. From the pictures, to the artifacts in the museum they are all full of energy, positive and negative, from the events they were involved in. There are many things in the museum that you will see that you will immediately feel the impact of their past, be it physically or mentally, in very powerful ways.

In summary, if you are ever in the area, it is worth the time to stop and visit the museum. Mr. Hummel truly runs an amazing spectacle that everyone, whether you believe in the paranormal or not, needs to experience and see. We went in thinking we'd spend a short time, and ended up fascinated with everything he has on display and spending a couple of hours looking around and talking with Mr. Hummel.

You will absolutely not regret taking the time to visit this truly unique gem of history and the paranormal!!

Anyone with Lego lovers must stop here to see the displays. They are amazing. We took our nephews ages 7,9 and 10. After 3 hours we had to drag them out. They could have spent 4 hours easily. The building is older but very unique. It is very large and I am sure the up keep is hard with the size. It does not have AC but they do have large fans and we were very comfortable while walking through. Thank you for sharing your Lego displays with us. What a treat!

We rented White Oak cabin this past weekend for my daughter's birthday party. The cabin was beautiful. The view was stunning. Our hot tub was hot and ready to go. Prior to coming we stopped by so we could see the cabin. The executive director showed us around the cabin and made sure we could find the Overlook. The staff was very kind and available to us throughout the weekend. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone else!

The Imperial Glass Museum is operated by dedicated volunteers that sacrifice time, energy, and money to keep glass making history along the Ohio alive and vibrant. Beautiful displays of much of the glass produce in Bellaire are designed to educate and enlighten the museum visitor. Because the museum uses volunteers, the hours of operation are short. The museum is only open Thurs- Saturday from 11:00 to 3:00. It is well worth the 10 minute detour on Ohio 7 off I-70 if you are in the are at those days and time.

Attended the "Blue Moon" paranormal investigation of this haunted house on March 31. I had heard many things about the spirits at this location. I didn't get any EVP's (electronic voice phenomena) but something in the house was speaking to other folks though the ghost boxes, and an entity was making the K2 meters light up.
There was also a Medium this night and she had me do an experiment with one of the house's resident entities.
I can't explain it, but I had an experience I shall never forget with "Edwin".
Go to the Bellaire House for your quest to seek out the paranormal.
I hope to return soon, hopefully for an overnight investigation..

Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center

Reviewed By Saff522

I have been to Wheeling Island several times. I do enjoy playing the dogs and gambling at the casino. It's good entertainment for a day or two. I was disappointed in several areas. First the track area, they eliminated the lower level where you could make bets and see the dogs before the next race. This made it more congested on the second and third level. Plus the 3rd level is for smokers, pretty nasty up there if you don't smoke. The staff seems short handed at the windows. Looks like they're replacing with machines to do your betting. Second, the casino seemed short staffed too. If you had a problem or needed a question answered it was almost impossible to find someone. You had to go to the service area and stand inline. It also seemed like most of the casino was filled with smoke from smokers. They had a small area for gambling for non-smokers. You would think in this day and age it would be the other way around. The casino usually has good entertainment in the way of bands scheduled. They do a good job with that. This weekend was Tom Petty tribute. We didn't eat anything there so I can't review the food. We spent probably 6-7 hours gambling in the casino. We didn't have any luck. I didn't see anyone around me doing much winning either. This day the machines were very stingy. This place is good fun if you can stand the smoke and going home broke....haha.
