Plage de Sa Tuna

One of the most beautiful Beaches @ the Costa Brava. Little town, beautiful sunset, little shops. Don't go to the restaurants, they look nice but they're expensive and food isn't great. Go early because finding parking is a full time job. Oh, don't forget your camera.

Playa Fonda

This was our favourite beach in Begur. Relatively small, no service but still fantastic. 5 minutes walk down from Fonda area, just next to Aiguablava. 10 minutes to walk to the kiosk in Aiguablava if you need food or drinks. The views are amazing, a must visit if in Begur.

Nice little beach with few places to eat closeby. Don't go here in the high season expecting a lot of space to move; it is crowded, especially in the weekends

Playa de Aiguablava

Reviewed By Michiel N - Breda, The Netherlands

The sandy beach of Aiguablava is not big. It's one of the few sandy Beaches in the area. So it can be crowed. But that's every beach in august. If you come in time around not later then 10:00 O'clock. you will be fine. Park your car is possible not on the regular parking but just in front / right side of it. That will cost you only € 3,-
Because there is a bar and a restaurant at the beachside, it's fun to choose this beach.

Castell de Begur

Reviewed By beachbuddy10 - Bridport, United Kingdom

The walk up splits people into two camps. If you consider yourself fit, do it. If not, drive up and park in the little carpark. There honestly isn't much of the castle left. (that's why they call it ruins), but the Panorama way across Pals beach to the Islas Medes is stunning on a clear day.
The Catalan flag was flying proudly on the day we went, declaring its support for the independence of the region.

L'illa Roja

Reviewed By morevish - The Hague, The Netherlands

It's a bit secluded and you need to climb a bit but it's absolutely worth the effort. It's tranquil, clean, nice sand and the sea is very clear. Nude sun bathing is allowed, which gives the beach a bit of a bohemien, relaxed atmosphere.

Easy parking on entrance to the cove and short walk to cove. The water is beautifully clear and a little jetty to stroll along. There is a coastal walk that connects with two othe lovely coves. Sa rascassa restaurant is ideal for a shady lunch.
