I had no idea what sponge candy was, but after reading the reviews about it, I knew I had to try some. This nice store has plenty of samples, and something for everyone. I bought a huge bag of sponge candy to take home for family and friends. The store is easy to find, plenty of parking on either side of the building.

Stop by the ballpark for a glimpse of our hometown heroes! The Batavia Muckdogs are a minor league baseball team affiliated with the Miami Marlins. You'll find them at 2,200 seat Dwyer Stadium June through September.

Reviewed By Rich K - Brooklyn, Ohio

Dwyer Stadium is home to the Batavia MuckDogs, a short season single-A baseball team. The stadium is the perfect size and not a bad seat. Concessions were standard ballpark food and affordable. Staff that I dealt with were all very friendly. My wife needed a sweatshirt once the sun dropped and they allowed my to grab one out of my car and re-enter the stadium. Unfortunately, the team had an awful season, so the crowd was barley existent. The ballpark was clean.

We had a guided tour and wow! We had the new, young director take us around and he spoke adoringly about the history of the land office and the artifacts and history associated with it! You talk about interesting! This was one of the best little museums I have visited in a long time. The history of Western NY opened before our ears and what great stories. This is worth going to see, a gem to say the least!!

We had a great time at Sixth sense escape room in Batavia. We did 2 rooms, the Pharaoh and the cabin in the woods. We are escape room enthusiasts and found both of these rooms to be challenging and fun. They had some puzzles and elements we’ve never seen before. They were both very well done. They pay close attention to detail. Especially in the Pharaoh room.
The only think I wasn’t a fan of is when you request a clue, they come in a help you. It takes away from the immersion experience part. A microphone or screen would be preferred. However, the owners are so great that I didn’t even mind it that much.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and I would recommend this room to anyone looking to do a escape room. It’s only a few minutes off the thruway. The entrance door from outside is a bit hidden in a back corner but once you get inside it’s very bright and welcoming. You should check it out!

New York Information Centre

I entered the New York Information Centre in Batavia to have a map of New York State. The clerk was very nice and gave it to me for free.

Our car all of a sudden had shown a warning. We weren’t sure what to do about it. We asked the clerk at the Information Centre if she could find a Mazda dealer nearby. She looked it and found it for us.

I like Information centers that are so courteous.

Worthwhile to visit!
