My husband is a shooter. He loves to shoot clays, he's not into any live shoot at all. So when we were looking for a club in Malaga we found Jarapelo in Alhaurin de la Torre. What a fabulous find. They have 5 lay outs offering a great selection from sporting, Olympic trap, universal trap & several other things. The New Restaurant is really lovely with great staff. A highly recommended visit even if you don't shoot. Loads of Champians & teams train there so you may meet a world champion if your Lucky. My husband shot with one a few months ago. Easy to find, good parking and very well looked after.

Lauro 27 Golf can be found in the middle of beautiful pure nature in spectacular surroundings. The course consists of 27 holes that can be played in three different combinations, all par 72. From the beginning the design and function of the course has been based on respecting the nature and the environment that surrounds it by not only saving and caring for the already existing trees but also by planting thousands of new trees, most of them indigenous Andalusian species. In Lauro Golf the nature is everywhere. Within the whole complex the direct contact with the nature is constant and whether you are playing golf, living in the residences or just enjoying a stroll in the surroundings you can see that we are not the only visitors at Lauro Golf. You can often see rabbits, ducks, partridges, herons and even eagles on and around the golf course, our friendly neighbours who are enjoying the micro-climate of the course created by the thousands of trees and the fourteen lakes of the golf c

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Lauro Golf Resort, although the trip didn't go entirely to plan with 3 out of 4 arriving in Malaga to find that our golf bags hadnt been put on the plane! The weather was also very changeable, we were not able to play golf on the last day due to a terrible storm that hit over night. However, on a more positive note, all the staff at the Lauro are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can, booking us taxis, and allowing us to stay in our apartment late on the day we were leaving at no extra charge. The resort itself was very quiet with the course only being fairly busy on the Friday morning. Breakfast was lovely and the evening meals at the small restaurant on site was always a pleasant experience and reasonably priced. Being able to use the golf bugies all day on the complex was a great help. The course was in great condition. Will definitely be returning in the near future, hopefully with a bit more luck on the baggage and weather front!
