Santorini Sea Kayak - Day Tours

Daily seakayak excursions on Santorini

We did the South Discovery day tour with Marco and Adonis and had an absolute blast! The team is dedicated to the safety of all participants and the equipment is high quality and well maintained. We were picked up from and returned to our accommodations in Oia (included in the tour price). The kayak route is incredibly scenic passing by many small Beaches and steep cliffs..and our guides were like a comedy duo, lots of fun commentary and interesting tales of the region.
We stopped off at a small rocky beach for a homemade picnic lunch of delicious sandwiches and other finger foods made by Adonis' mom.
The day was incredibly fun and memorable, not to mention, the guides even took pictures for the group and sen the photo file within a few days. An unforgettable afternoon out on the Aegean and a sublime and scenic paddle.
Be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen. You are out for 4-5 hours total. The staff provides hats and dry bags. I would also highly recommend to bring water shoes with stiff soles, as the Beaches are very rocky.
A++++ day. Thanks Santorini Sea Kayak!

Barca Sailing

Captain Yiannis and his crew will take you to a fantastic trip inside the Caldera of Santorini or to other Aegean Islands!

Reviewed By Moutassem Q

I was there with my wife on our honeymoon. We thought it might be boring to go on a cruise trip but on the contrary, we enjoyed the sailing trip a lot. The crew was fantastic. The small number of people on the tour made the trip very friendly. They picked us up from our hotel and drove us back at the end of the event. The food was delicious and the smell when cooking it was great. We loved everything on the tour and would definitely recommend booking with Barca Sailing.

This was an unbelievably memorable day. My husband and I ended up riding 21 miles around the entire south end of Santorini, enjoying every second of the tour. Vasillis and katarina added so much knowledge to our tour too, teaching us about what we were seeing, about the landscape and villages, and enriched our experience tenfold. Fun fact guys: we went back to the power bar bakery the next day and stocked up on more! thank you a million times over.

Aegean Divers Dive Center - Day Excursions

Aegean Divers is a Dive Center and Dive Shop. The only one diving center in Santorini who can offers you 38 different diving spots. We offer individual and group dive packages, private scuba diving for divers or non divers, try scuba (1 dive) or discover scuba diving (2 dives) for beginners, boat dives or shore dives for certified divers, SSI certification courses up to Divemaster level and various specialized diver courses. Morning and afternoon programs.

I was picked up at the bus station by Aegean Divers for my two tank dive. We headed back to the dive shop to load up the gear and meet the team. I was the only diver scheduled for the day, and I was told that they would not use boats due to the cost plus it was the start of the season, so we did two shore dives. There were other dive operators there, and it was the same situation, shore dives for a couple of tourist divers. It was nice to have the Dive Master to myself, and he was really good, and had safety in mind throughout the dive. The water was cold, it was only 18 C, however the air temperature was hot at around 26 C, so suiting up in a 5mm wet suit and walking along the beach with a tank on was a bit of a concern for overheating. I was disappointed with both dives, as they were non-interesting, as there wasn’t much coral or fish to see. The surface interval was roughly a 45 minute break with bottled water and a welfare Sandwich. At the end we headed back to the dive center, where they had cold showers to rinse off with. Upon leaving, I was given a gift of an Aegean Divers t-shirt, which I thought was a nice touch.

If you have to choose one thing to do while in Santorini, we would highly recommend Panos as your skipper aboard the Alex. He and Dimitri were hospitable, informative, and gracious. We Santorini from vantage points we never would have experienced otherwise and got a terrific education/history/geology lesson of this remarkably beautifully place. To boot, he prepared and served us tasty, local cuisine as we prepared to watch the sunset. We had a memorable week in Santorini but this was surely our highlight.

We had visited Santorini in the past on our own but wanted to have the experience of a resident, historian and socially interactive guide. Dimitra had all these traits and provided a memorable visit and special Greek Easter . Walking through the villages, we could smell and view the whole lambs being cooked on outside rotisseries over hot ambers. Though my husband is Greek American, this experience was a first for us. We would later have our Easter dinner at a restaurant recommended by Dimitra with our food cooked in the same manner.
Dimitra and I mutually chose our itinerary for the day and it was organized in a very workable fashion tailored to our needs.
Tomas, her husband, is the perfect complement to her tour as he courteously transports you to the various sites.
Thanks to both of you for the wonderful memories!

Captain George Santorini Yachting

Captain George was raised and educated in Australia and has over 30 years experience in skippering sea craft around the Greek Islands and is the creator of the sunset cruise in its present form! His passion for the sea and tradition has lead him to restore one of the most important boats that was used for transportation of people and goods between the Islands and the Mainland for centuries. It all started back in the early 90’s when he started BBQ cruises on Santorini and various Islands in the Aegean – reminiscent of the Australian weekends of his youth. The boat is the S/Y Eleftheria, a 55-foot wooden built traditional Greek Kaiki -Trechandiri or working boat, which nowadays are open museums and carry memories of a world that is fading right in front of us. We also cater for VIP tours, private charters, sunset cruise and individual itineraries, BBQ trips and full day tours around Santorini and the surrounding Islands.

Captain George is a gentleman of the sea and his boat is a timeless wonder.
Friendly, but not too friendly, he was a perfect host with his crew, sensing the moments for engagement and conversation and being genuinely knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful and magical trip and highly recommend this experience, ON THIS BOAT. You can get into a fibreglass modern yacht anywhere in the world, but this is an unique experience.
You have to book direct - he keeps prices good by avoiding middlemen - and you get a prompt reply. You also get a luxury pickup and return from and back to your hotel. Great food, drink and swims too.

Venetsanos Winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the Caldera. Designed by George Venetsanos, it was opened as the first industrial winery on the island in 1949. This unique winery (now a museum) is literally carved into and hanging onto the cliffs! The winery produces several white and red wines, includes the sweet Vinsanto dessert wine. We enjoyed tasting them all! When paired with food and sipped on the Terrace with the Caldera and all of Santorini at your feet – well, friends, it doesn’t get any better than this! Our Santorini Unique Experience Tour included a stop here. Make sure you allow enough time, because you won’t want to leave. I’d still be there with a wine glass in my hand if they hadn’t dragged me away.
