Aspet is a nature reserve at the beach, just south of Ahus harbor. There are mixed forests, coastal dunes, wetlands and a wide sandy beach. In the south-east corner, the shallow lagoon attracts nesting and resting birds. At the lagoon there are two bird watching towers . In the outdoor museum at the parking lot you can read about life below the surface, about the list of ships, bath life and the history of the eelcoast. Äspet is a visitor site in Kristianstads Vattenrike Biosphere Reserve.

Studio Glashyttan i Åhus AB is a small family owned company situated in the southeast of Sweden just by the coast. They are only working with hand-made crystal with a superior quality. The glasswork was started 1977 by the couple Hanne Dreutler and Arthur Zirnsack. Today glass artist Lennart Nissmark runs and developes the work with the Studio. Studio Glashyttan only works with handmade crystal designed and created by themselves in their own hot shop. The goal of Studio Glashyttan has always been to work with the highest quality in craft, material and design. We offer glassblowing events in the glass studio, a gift shop and a art gallery.

The beach is located in Ahus and consists of a several hundred meters long and sandy beach. At the seaside there is a 150 meter long pier. According to measurements in recent years, bathing water quality is excellent. There are several roads to the beach. In the area there are a toilet, kiosk, outdoor swimming pool, hotel, restaurant and beacharena. Security equipment is located on the beach.

At Åhus museum we tell the story about became a big trading place during 7th century. Arabic coins, pearls of glas and other luxury commodoties points to the fact that Åhus was a place of importance. The town of Åhus came to belong to the archbishop of Lund. From his castle he controlled the trade. The castle is one of the remains from the Middle Ages that still remain. The exhibition at Åhus museum contains lots of archaeological finds from Åhus and its predecessors. These findings give us a glimpse of the medieval Åhus and the life in the city among merchants, scholars black brothers, the archbishop's officers, artisans and farmers. Every summer, various exhibitions complement the permanent exhibition.
