Skiing experience: First time skier (23 years old). Lessons used: 6x3 hour group lessons in the morning (incl. additional 2 hours on the first day). Highlights: Alberto was an excellent ski instructor and helped me to progress from falling over on every green run to successfully completing red runs by the end of the week. He was very knowledge, patient and most importantly he was very fun to spend time with over the week. I thoroughly enjoyed my time skiing and I would definitely recommend going to the Oxygene Ski School if you are a first time skier and are looking for an fun, enjoyable environment whilst also improving your skiing ability.

We booked Lynn for 3 hours every morning for our group of mixed ability children ages 5-6-7 and 9. The youngest had only had a few hours on a dry slope and the older ones had a weeks previous experience. After a few days of one to one hour sessions with our youngest she soon had them skiing together and left a big impression on them all. Lynn can translate her vast technical knowledge into a way the kids really understood. Will be booking again for our next trip without a doubt! Thank you Lynn x

First time on skis (with snowboarding experience) and they were amazing at gauging my level and where to take me. By the end of the lesson I was comfortably able to complete any blues and most reds, and then went on to do a few blacks the next day. Had I spent longer in the area I would definitely have done another lesson. Brilliant idea to record me while skiing with a voice over to give me pointers that I could watch at home later on.

Having skied previously and lost my confidence I thought it best that this time I went skiing I book some private lessons in the hope to get my confidence back. I went for 2 days of the 4 hour one to one option. My instructor Ben was amazing, very patient, funny and knew every last inch of the resort. He told me he had been teaching there for 20 years which doesn’t surprise me as the teaching was impeccable and by the end of my lessons I felt a lot more comfortable on my skis. He even took me down part of a red which I never thought would happen! When we come back next year I will definitely be having further lessons and would recommend anyone visiting Val d’Isere do the same with ESF.

We had Daniel for three days of private instruction (our group was two teenage boys who had never skied and mom) and he was a perfect instructor. Within the first hour I had my 17 year old wanting to quit bc he was not instantly a good skier. But Daniel persevered and kept him completely engaged. By the second day my son was telling me how good of an instructor Daniel was which as you know is high praise coming from a teenager. He taught them great technique and paced it as such for them to gain confidence. After their three lessons with Daniel, my first time skier kids were skiing with ease down all reds for our remaining three days
