We operate from two great locations, St Kilda beach (Pier Road), and the boatsheds on Melbourne's Yarra River. All locations are perfect places to learn SUP in a safe, fun and protected environment. At St Kilda you can unwind and enjoy the tranquility paddling amongst the yachts and the sea life including some of St Kilda's 1000 penguins. On the Yarra you can enjoy the panoramic view of Melbourne's best known tourist sites including the MCG, Eureka Tower and Polywoodside, all from a unique location on the water.

The St Kilda Botanic Gardens were staked out in the 1800s and formally establised in 1859, when a boundary fence was erected around the gardens. The gardens are a feature of St Kilda that is loved by residens ad visiors alike. The flowers are attractive, particularly in spring. The mature trees provide a home for wildlife such as the Flying Foxes (bats) and the rare Powerful Owl. Many native birds can he found im the gardens. The gardesn have a playground. Dogs (on leash) are welcome. Bicycles are not allowed. The gardens, which have restrooms, are open seven days a week, sunrise to sunset.

Visited on a Sunday so there was a waterfront market and the bonus of a Triathlon. Lovely place to visit and the extra of seeing for free the fairy penguins at the end of the pier, Lovely clean area easily accessed by tram from Melbourne, sea breezes and good cafes on Acland Road.

Underrated and sometimes forgotten when visiting St.Kilda beach, but worth coming if you’re nearby if you want some quiet space. As you can see it’s pretty well lit up during night. Plenty of benches, there’s a public toilet, some drinking fountain, a lovely rotunda in the middle and its very well maintained. Nice place to chill or have a picnic.

I seriously don't bother going to Phillip Island anymore the fairy penguins are right here! It can depend on the night as to how many there are but we have been lucky on most occasions that we have been. There is also a great view of the city from the pier, a great photo opportunity beckons.

We happened to visit St Kilda on a quiet Sunday afternoon and strolled into this beautiful community garden when families were gathering on the lawn and picnicking. Soon we realized they were preparing for a concert. We bought a glass of wine from the organizers and nestled into a delightful few hours of people-watching and entertainment that felt like a very authentic way to experience an evening with locals.

Family friendly beach with really nice beach side bars and eating places, Also access to a public indoor swimming pool and Luna Beach ammusement park. A short walk to the vibrant Acland Street where there are quiant old fashion style cake shops and ice cream parlours

This is a pretty park that has something for everyone. You can take a gentle stroll along the Palm tree lined path or take the children to the lively play area, there are plenty of benches to watch the world go by or lovely shaded areas to enjoy a picnic. The park has toilets and water fountains and is located by the foreshore if you want to go to the beach.

Acland Street is a place where tourists [and locals, obviously] can enjoy themselves any time of the year for many reasons: 1. Great restaurants with cuisines from a range of countries - breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks or snacks and even take away options [currently most are doing home deliveries and take away options due to COVID-19] are there to choose from 2. A place to do your basics shop if you are on the road or a tourist here for a holiday or work. Woolworths and Coles plus some smaller food suppliers are to be found along the street and in the arcades 3. Cake and coffee cafes - are worth mentioning on their own - many choices and the coffee, as it is well documented, in Melbourne, is great quality and there are just so many varieties and most are locally / Australian sourced 4. There is a wide selection of clothing, novelty, stationery, kitchen, Australian souvenir, reading and worldly boutique shops to be found here - take your time to look at them all 5. For those wanting to keep up with their self care/ personal hygiene when travelling, you have everything at your fingertips in Acland Street - from hairdressers, mani and pedicurists, doctors, opticians and masseuses, plus a lot more 6. For fun / music / or the arts - Luna Park is near by, as is the St Kilda Beach, Port Melbourne and Elwood, the Memo Music Hall / Palais Theatre for music and stage events, Community Gardens and Botanical Gardens and many pubs and hotels that supply entertainment are along the street or just off it. 7. Accessibility to Acland Street - half can be driven, you can walk it safely both ways, all can be accessible by tram and there is a range of off street parking ranging from an hour to 4-6 hours free / paid after 6pm and undercover parking to aid with shopping which is free for 1.5hours if you do a shop. There are ample disability parking spaces and accessibility to Acland Street is easy as it a flat area. Parking inspectors do regulate these areas so be vigilant with your parking times Obviously there is other modes of transportation, one being Taxis. The taxi ranks can be found near Luna Park plus other areas along the St Kilda Beach foreshore. Note: COVID-19 alert - 2 people, social distancing visiting area on a need basis and exercise are the current restrictions Once this has passed I am sure this area will return to the buzzing tourist and locals place to congregate, socialise and enjoy life at.
