MonBoulders

We have almost 100 square meters of boulder wall, and have both dark room and a LED MoonBoard. All our walls are made from special compressed wood with a mesh for friction, which gives very good stability on the wall, are extremely durable and offers less risk of critical falls. The hall is unmanned and 100% self service.

Mons Klint

An absolutely fantastic beautiful nature, good hiking conditions, as well as the opportunity to get down to the water's edge of the cliffs. Remember a little warmer clothes if you come outside the tourist season.

Stevns Klint

The cliff is a UNESCO World Heritage site and represents a dramatic chapter in the history of the earth. A thin layer of fish clay tells the story of how more than half of all animals and plant life became extinct as an asteroid struck earth 66 million years ago. Take the bike or car to Stevns Klint and explore the unique nature while on a refreshing hike. Walk along the beach and enjoy the sight of the cliff which towers 40 meters above sea level. At the top of cliff, Højerup Old Church hangs almost falling into the sea. From here you have a great view of the cliff and sea. Take the stairs to the top of Stevns Lighthouse and enjoy the panoramic view all the way to Sweden. Explore the underground tunnels deep within the Museum Stevnsfort, which during the Cold War served as a military facility keeping an eye on the Soviet Union. There are guided tours everyday from 1 june to 1 September at the Church. It costs 40 DKK to join.

Rosnaes Fyr

Reviewed By lenemike - Roskilde, Denmark

There's an excellent 5 kilometre walk around the glacial moraines of the Røsnæs peninsular from the nature centre to the lighthouse. It takes a couple of hours, along the stony beaches, past woodlands, across some fields and around small lakes. At the lighthouse there's a little café, but it was closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. From the viewpoints you can see Samsø, northern Funen and Sejerø. The sky meets the sea with ships sliding past on their way through the Great Belt. An idyllic spot!
