Rajasthan (/ˈrɑːdʒəstæn/ Hindustani pronunciation: [raːdʒəsˈt̪ʰaːn] ( listen); literally, "Land of Kings") is India's largest state by area (342,239 square kilometres (132,139 sq mi) or 10.4% of India's total area). Your visit to Jaisalmer is incomplete without visiting this magnificent place located around 110 kms. from Jaisalmer town which is around 3 hours drive and yes it is totally worth it. The roads leading to Longewala are smooth and you will find vast open spaces of the Thar Desert on either side of the road. The Yudh Sthal showcases the factual account of the 1971 war that took place here and it has on display captured tanks, guns, artillery etc. that were left behind by the retreating army. It also highlights the glorious and selfless contribution of the officers and jawans who risked everything in the line of duty and their unflinching dedication to the protection of the nation. A museum in the compount exhibits all the relevant information about the war which is descriptive. A visit to this place also brings out the nostalgic memories of those events and a chance to be proud of our Army who despite all adversities defend the security and sovereignty of the nation. It is a must visit destination of the Jaisalmer itinerary. Period.

We booked a open jeep safari to learn more about the local Indian and Indian daily it was unbelievable experience mr.khan our driver was helpful polite and kind he provide a day of delight on this amazing safari all activities were fantastic monkey temple school century etc It was perfect to see real India Thank you so much waseem for providing great time in India !!!

Elephant joy was amazing! The service from the moment very nice people immediately came to help and explain all about the elephants which have been kept very well and all round and amazing experience thank you to Jamil and the team Jamil and the staff take care of the animals with love and they make you feel that same love. Really outstanding especially for kids. practical advice. if necessary they pick you up from hotel in Jaipur (included in this price). Overall you should definitely come here while in Jaipur! Avoid the elephants at the Amer Fort and do this instead. Total i loved my time in Jaipur at elephant joy and looking forward to be back. Highly recommended everyone to elephant joy!!!!

its one of the biggest tourist destination in the jodhpur city also the biggest fort in rajasthan after the jaipur amer fort Like any other forts this fort is also quite huge & massive You will get elephant & other animal ride to roam inside the fort you also have an eating joint inside the fort which serves decent snacks & refreshments. the view from the fort is quite beautiful & impressive You can experience the so called blue city of india which is mind blowing Overall its not take you more than 3-4 hrs to complete the entire fort Also they have some adventure stuff to do inside the fort

A fort..with yellow sandstone wall surrounded fortress..the maximum part inside fort is is house..people resides for generations..many turned into staying options..with shop n restaurants in many.. The main tourist attraction is jain temples..3 cannons ..with city view point and obviously the main building- The Fort Palace Museum or Raja ka mahal..the preferable Audio guided tour makes a good trip with rich history n exhibits and sandstone crafting masterpiece architecture inside the palace.. The shop inside the fort is for good buy of Rajasthani crafts n mementoes.. with good food of different taste available.. A sunset n sunrise time at Cannon point is a must do.. Make planmess trails of the lanes..explore the haveli like houses..feel the pulse of the life inside the fort..have a full day time to explore it..to feel the real hues of the fort.. Raptor’s inn is a simple unassuming home stay located close to the sanctuary. Atul is a very committed bird guide who puts in tonnes of effort. Has a never give up attitude. A good judge of bird behaviour and how to position the gypsy to get good shots. Suggest that you be clear regarding your requirements and he does his best to take care of it all. The food at the inn is spectacular simple home food. We sure hogged away like there was no tomorrow. All in all a great experience. Nothing to fault. This is a simple homestay but comfortable, clean and high on the satisfaction quotient. Highly recommend.
